Duties:
As a Supervisory Business Resilience Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the resilience of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) non-appropriated funded (NAF) programs. Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, investigate theft incidents, and provide training to employees within flagship CGX locations and other assigned areas. This includes addressing point of sale (POS) exceptions and implementing necessary mitigation actions.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor Business Resilience Investigators, establishing investigative protocols in line with USCG CSC standards. Develop and implement techniques to enhance team development and ensure consistent execution of policies.
• Surveillance and Compliance: Monitor video surveillance systems for adherence to planograms, stock levels, and loss prevention measures. Ensure compliance with safety standards, merchandise protection protocols, and document/report any incidents in accordance with the chain of command.
• Contingency Planning: Develop and manage CGX contingency and sustainment plans in collaboration with management. Regularly review and update Business Resilience (BR) plans to ensure they remain current and effective.
• Law Enforcement Coordination: Liaise with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies on matters of fraud, waste, and abuse. Establish and execute action plans for investigations, adhering to CSC standards to achieve successful outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead meetings with various organizational personnel to develop or assess plans, training, and exercises based on identified needs and resources. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership for implementation.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance to subordinates, reviewing their reports and duties to ensure compliance with expectations and policy requirements. Provide coaching, mentoring, schedules and directs work and appraises work performance.

• Serving as the subject matter expert on video surveillance, management software, and POS exception-based reporting systems.
• Acting as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for technology-related procurements, conducting market research, drafting procurement requests, and managing contract-related tasks.
• Supporting and train the Business Resilience team on the use of these systems, developing business solutions such as dashboards, alerts, and reports to improve functionality and user experience.
• Serving as the system administrator for the shopcgx.com e-commerce fraud tool, collaborating with fraud prevention vendors to refine rule sets for minimizing fraud while maximizing sales.

Job Summary

The Project Manager ensures that Flowserve meets our commitments on complex aftermarket orders related to repairs, upgrades, hydraulic rerates, and maintenance of rotating pumps and equipment for our customers in industries such as oil, chemical, pharmaceutical, municipal water/wastewater, and power. As a Wave Planner, you release orders to the Work Management System (WMS), on an hourly basis. The Wave Planner also, ensures departments have consistent orders to fulfill the production day. The Wave Planner drops orders in a strategic way to ensure that service level is met. Sends daily orders and communicates with other departments. Monitors order progress via the High Jump software. 3. Act as a backup role for other key business functional areas, including order management, procurement, and operations. 
4. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing application systems; and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
5. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating applications systems across the organization.

Education:  Bachelor of Science Degree the field of business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems

Related Work Experience:  5+ years.

Experience with maintenance support of Oracle EBS R12 Financial Modules and Oracle EPM is required. Oracle EBS modules include General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), Projects, Costing, Tax, and Fixed Assets (FA). Oracle EPM modules include Financial Consolidation Cloud Service (FCCS) and Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS). Experience with SAP is a plus.   

Technical Skills:  
•    Theoretical knowledge of networks, PCs, Servers, Database Management Systems.
•    Working knowledge and experience with at least one commercial off-the-shelf application software system.
•    Microsoft desktop operating systems and office applications and Google Workspace.
•    Knowledge and experience with data extract, transformation, and loading techniques and programs is a plus.
 

Business Skills:  
•    Theoretical and practical knowledge of one or more end-to-end business process.  
•    Experience in overseeing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of automated business application software.

Job Description:

The Business Development Manager (US Navy Surface Warfare) is responsible for the management and growth of Teledyne FLIR’s business with the Surface Warfare Community and related OEM customers.  The individual will target specific platform and program customers that are identified as appropriate candidates for FLIR’s solutions and technology; or are potential teaming partners.  Working with current and new Navy customers to establish requirements and mission needs that match Teledyne FLIR’s current and future product capabilities, this person will present Teledyne FLIR’s Electro-Optical, Unmanned, and Integrated Solution capabilities in an effort to secure product orders, development contracts and program business consistent with the forecast for the line of business.  This person will monitor and document market requirements and communicate these to the product management group in an effort to have current and future products better meet market needs.  He/she will provide customers with visibility to Teledyne FLIR’s product line, expertise in EO/IR and Integrated sensor systems and developmental capabilities at a variety of forums to include; personal meetings, formal briefings, social events, trade shows and seminars.

• Responsible for meeting the established bookings plan for products associated with the target customers and platforms.
• Responsible for identifying, qualifying and creating long term relationships with Defense OEM’s at every level including operators, buyers, requirements developers, program managers, logistics planners, contractors and senior leaders.
• Responsible for presenting Teledyne FLIR products, technology and developmental capabilities to target Defense OEM customers.  Potential forums shall include personal meetings, formal briefings, social events, trade shows and seminars.
• Responsible for responding to complex bid requirements, including detailed technical arguments, protests, competitive responses and compliance to customer bidding standards.
• Responsible for identifying programs of interest and customer groups that match Teledyne FLIR solutions and presenting them for a pursue/no-pursue decision with senior management.
• Responsible for developing trusted coaches inside customer organizations to help ensure that Teledyne FLIR maintains a fair competitive position.
• Responsible for supporting proposals as the Capture Manager associated with assigned customers or assisting with other proposals as directed.  If requested, assists the customer through the specification generation process when that proposal offers the potential for a Teledyne FLIR sensor solution.  This includes theme development, pricing strategy, support requirements and formulating key selling points.
• Act as the primary customer advocate to ensure user requirements for new capabilities are presented to product management.  Once accepted for pursuit, responsible for developing capture strategies, making product recommendations and coordinating pursuit plans and activities.
• Principal interface with the customers for all business development matters.  Ensure that any and all technical issues are assessed properly by product management and engineering; from a cost, schedule and performance aspect.
• Responsible for championing the product-development process from a market perspective, to include articulating the market opportunity, capture strategy, desired time schedule, desired end-pricing and potential return on investment.
• Responsible for identifying and monitoring risks associated with customer requirements and programs.
• Responsible for conducting product demonstrations as needed on the ground or in flight to support product sales and training.
• Responsible for effectively communicating with Teledyne FLIR DoD business development personnel to ensure a well-coordinated sales effort to both the OEM and military end-user.
• Required to travel up to 50% of the time, providing support to major program pursuits.
• Responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education: 

BA/BS Degree or technical equivalent military/government background or operational experience.

Knowledge of Profession/Principles/Trade:

• Demonstrated business development success in the area of high value military imaging, electronics or equivalent experience
• Ability to setup, operate and demonstrate Teledyne FLIR products
• Ability to develop and present the operational values of a thermal imaging systems in a typical operating environment

Qualifications:

Desired Experience:

• Ten (10) years prior business, acquisition or program development experience or military equivalent acquisition or operational experience
• Knowledge of the U.S. Navy and DoD acquisition process and operational communities with a particular focus on Shipboard/Maritime systems, to include large and small surface combatants, patrol boats, unmanned surface platforms and Military Sealift Command assets.
• Minimum rank of LCDR (if applicable)
• Familiarity with major US shipbuilding and maritime OEMs
• Possess an understanding of night vision/thermal imaging technology and/or its applications
• Demonstrated ability to independently travel up to 50% of the time.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to lift/maneuver equipment and transport cases weighing up to 70 pounds as required in support of product demonstrations
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
