• Directs, develops and administers plans and procedures. Implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business program which meets the needs and interests of the military community.
• Provides sound leadership and supervision to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
• Develops five-year plan with Capitol Purchase Minor Construction (CPMC) and Annual Operating Budgets covering projected programs of division resources.

• Provides technical leadership for core Business Tools including Conservation Desktop, Conservation Client Gateway, and Customer Service Toolkit (CST).
• Provides technical support and assistance to field, area and state staff in using Business Tools such as CST, Conservation Desktop, GIS, and Remote Sensing to analyze geospatial data, and make conservation planning decisions..
• Coordinates with other state technical staff to further the development of, use for, natural resource data including soil survey geodatabases, GIS and other tools and models.
• Provides training, coordinates deployment of software and hardware upgrades, and manages access to agency Business Tools.
