Discovering the role
This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our AV services. This role requires a deep understanding of AV technology, market trends, and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the AV market, focusing on key industries such as corporate, education, healthcare, and hospitality.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing customized AV solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and service, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to position Convergint as a leader in the AV space.
- Prepare and present proposals, conduct negotiations, and close deals effectively.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution-based business development or sales, specifically in the AV industry.
- Strong knowledge of AV products, solutions, and integration.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in regional sales is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
