Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager looking to move into Project Management with a background in industrial services and scaffolding, to manage small packages of work. Based at Sellafield your key activities will be site supervision ensuring scaffolding projects are carried out to the highest level of health and safety in a Nuclear environment. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of scaffolding projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, safety standards, and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Plan, manage, and oversee scaffolding projects from inception to completion on nuclear sites. This includes budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Supervise on-site activities, ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations, particularly those specific to nuclear environments.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and safety records.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in site/project management within the industrial services sector, with a focus on scaffolding in nuclear environments.
- Professional certifications such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS Black Card.
- Comprehensive understanding of scaffolding techniques, nuclear safety protocols, and relevant UK regulations.
- Due to the secure nature of the location, it is essential that you are eligible to hold a UK security clearance.
