Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Manager to oversee and manage the legal functions. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing intellectual property, and providing strategic legal counsel to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, lease, and partnership contracts.
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage intellectual property rights, including trademarks and copyrights.
• Provide legal advice on employment matters, consumer protection laws, and advertising guidelines.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks in business operations.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and HR, to ensure alignment on legal strategies.
• Keep up-to-date with legal trends and regulatory changes impacting the retail industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and active license to practice law.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, compliance regulations, and intellectual property rights.
• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Your role:

Do you have a practical knowledge of OTC/ETD derivatives and Prime Brokerage documentation?

We're looking for someone like this to:

• Negotiate the document framework of master agreements for trading financial products, including prime brokerage, custody, OTC derivatives (ISDA and VM CSA and IM), exchange traded derivatives, repo (GMRA) and securities financing (GMSLA)
• Stay up to date with relevant trading financial products documentation developments (including IM) to make sure we meet all obligations to our customers and regulators

Your team:

You'll be working in the Investment Bank Operations, Global Client Documentation team based in Singapore or Hong Kong. We’re responsible for negotiating appropriate trading documentation with clients to best protect the bank's interest. We also work closely with our colleagues around the globe to make sure our documents are consistent and fits internal policies

Your expertise:

• Worked in a similar position before but we willing to train you up
• Qualified as a lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction
• A sound technical legal knowledge of ISDA, ETD or Prime brokerage would be advantageous
• Agreement negotiation skills and ability to efficiently bring them to a close efficiently
• A strong written and verbal communicator, used to interacting with colleagues at all levels
• Able to work under time constraints and have honed the ability to prioritize
• Known for hitting deadlines
• Comfortable in working in a dynamic, varied and innovative environment

Job Description:

• Oversee post-sales activities Cybersecurity products.
• Participate in large-scale project implementations at both local and regional levels.
• Provide on-site implementation services, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Offer technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze and address customer queries by troubleshooting and consulting existing knowledgebase articles and known issues.
• Be available for 24x7 maintenance support calls on a routine standby basis.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Candidates with no prior relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT, particularly in network support and administration.
• Knowledge and experience in networking, including routing and switching technologies.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to work diligently and eager to learn about new technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
