Head of Enterprise Security Architecture

National Highways have an exciting career opportunity to join us as Head of Security Architecture. Reporting directly into the Chief Security Officer you will oversee and lead the provision of security architecture services to change initiatives, aligning and coordinating with wider architecture governance functions to advise on and deliver a comprehensive enterprise (IT) and operational technology (OT) security architecture which reduces both the probability and impact of a cyber attack against to National Highways.

This is a hybrid role which can be based from any main National Highways office - (40% office based)

What you'll be leading on

• Own, improve and articulate the Highways England enterprise and operational technology security architecture.

This Lead Transportation Security Officer position is located at Key West International Airport (EYW), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Staff Management:

Ensure all employees are motivated and trained to the required standard and subject to regular effective performance monitoring.
Take full responsibility for the effective & meaningful assessments in respect of his/her supervisors & team personnel.
Ensure that all staff grievances are dealt with according to company procedures.
Play a proactive part in the control of staff turnover.
Effectively manage and reduce absence.

Equipment:

Control use of all security equipment ensuring regular audits.
Ensure lawful, safe, efficient and economical use and recording of all supplies and consumables.

Manage all relevant systems and ensure that all defects are correctly reported and monitored.

Administration:

Job Details

• Providing appropriate guarding security services to the business, including assistance, guidance, monitoring and advice on the physical security environment and fire and life safety systems

What you’ll do:

• Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols
• Monitor premises to prevent rule infractions
• Conduct regular patrols, ensuring a visible and reassuring presence
• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Complete details reports on incidents and observations

What you bring:

• You must have an in date SIA Licence
• Proven experience as a corporate security officer or relevant positions
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
• Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures

Nightshift Security Officer

• 4 on 4 off nights
• 7pm to 7am
• 42 hours per week average
• £14 per hour + Sodexo Benefits

This team handles a wide range of work in relation to rent reviews and other landlord and tenant related matters, helping on risk assessment as well as actual disputes. You will act for a variety of clients such as landlords, tenants, freeholders, local authorities, developers, management companies and letting agents.
