The selectee will serve as a Civil Engineer in The Office of Technical Development and Mission Support, Technical Security Division. Typical work assignments include:
- Communicating immediately with the contracting officer for any issues which will impact performance, schedule or terms and conditions under a contract. Initiates corrective action on contract performance through a partnership with the contracting officer.
- Serving as a knowledgeable technical advisor to the USSS and other government agencies, as well as contractor personnel, particularly regarding Civil Engineering, Structural building analysis and design, vehicle and pedestrian barriers, explosive effects analysis and design, building and general construction.
- Providing continuing program management by assisting with the development of operational requirements, and preparing structural analysis, designs, schedules and cost estimates. Prepares technical briefing materials for stakeholders, end-users and operational personnel. Provides informational briefings for supervisors and non technical personnel.
