You will:

• Formulate policy and provide direction on Infrastructure and Information Resources Management (IIRM) Programs.
• Oversee information management and technology services, programs, and contracting staff.
• Develop and implement an Infrastructure and Information Resources Management Program to promote inter-agency sharing of environmental data.
• Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

As a Computer Scientist you will:

• Provide technical leadership and expertise to agency and state, territorial, local, and tribal (STLT) public health partners in the development, dissemination, and implementation of modernized information systems, reusable technology and services, and data management standards, guidance, methods, and solutions.
• Provide specialized expertise in computer science, computer system architecture, information systems, and data management across the data lifecycle to enable core missions of public health to detect and monitor, investigate, and respond, and inform and disseminate.
• Provide expert technical advice and assistance on public health information systems within and outside of the agency and serves as a center expert in new and emerging information technology tools, platforms, and methods.
• Provide consultation and advice on new information technologies to the division and our public health partners working on systems and information technologies that need to exchange data with organization/agency.

Serves as a Medication Technician in a Federal Bureau of Prisons Institution.

Responsible for the administration and distribution of medication to inmates in various locations, including the Health Services Unit, Special Housing Units, or other designated areas within the institution.

Administers medications to include but not limited to Oral, Topical, Nebulized, Meter Dose Inhaler, and Insulin, in a manner consistent with nationally recognized safe medical practices, to include accurate identification of the patient, medication, dosage, time, and route.

Reports and records adverse medication reactions.

Assists Pharmacist or other appropriate staff member in a variety of pharmacy related activities, including, but not limited to, entry of physician orders into a computerized pharmacy information system, preparation of medications for Pharmacist review, preparation of medication administration records, storage and inventory of pharmacy supplies, etc.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
