What you'll be doing;

• Operating and maintaining Steam Boiler House systems to include Package Steam Boilers, Water Treatment Plants and other industrial utility plant.
• Effective completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on a range of Mechanical systems is required such as Steam & Water Systems, Boilers, Pumps, Control Valves.
• Breakdown and repair on systems to include overhaul equipment and pipe fitting works
• Project work including minor mechanical installation.
• You will be responsible for the maintenance and publication of plant quality records and reports and implementing Safe Systems of Work to include production of Permit to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Supporting out of hour alarms from mobile sites through On-Call rota cover.

What we're looking for;



Essential:

• A proven engineering background within Mechanical Engineering industry with a recognised Time Served apprenticeship
• Experienced on industrial Mechanical equipment and Industrial Utilities assets.
• Experience with industrial plant fault finding and maintenance
• Ability to assist a multi-disciplined Engineering team.
• Full clean driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience of operating Steam Boiler plant.
• Knowledge of Steam Boiler plant to aid operations, maintenance and fault finding on plant
• Experience of maintenance on Steam systems.
• Experience of multi-skilled work to support both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance tasks within an Industrial environment

You will be responsible for delivering the hard services PPM and reactive services in a safe and secure manner in line with the contract requirements. With a team of engineers and subcontract resources, you will maintain, repair, and replace items including mechanical, HVAC, Gas, electrical, building fabric, grounds maintenance and subcontractor management, fire systems. You must lead the team and identify strengths and weakness in order to utilise their skills in the most effective way. The safety of the team must be the priority. Work must be planned so that it does not affect the client business activities.

Main Duties

-Manage all activities with H&S being the most important aspect

-Manage the delivery of PPM's as allocated by the CAFM system in a timely manner

-Review and manage any remedial tasks identified by the PPM's

-Monitor reactive calls and ensure they are delivered in line with the SLA's

Job title:	Mobile Civil Enforcement Officer
Line manager:	Service Delivery Officer

Overall Purpose of Post

To carry out Parking Enforcement on either scooter, cycle or car in an efficient and courteous manner. Key Contacts/Relationships will be: All On Street Team, Members of the public, Local businesses.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• To act as relief and cover for any other enforcement colleagues during periods of absence.
• To carry out the duties of the post due with regard to the Company's equal opportunities policy
• To effectively manage potential confrontational situations
• To be flexible - carry out any other duties as and when required by the management
• To help train new staff within the team
• To liaise with members of the public and give advice on parking issues and enforcement procedures in a courteous manner ensuring that our customer care policy is adhered to at all times
• To enforce under TMA 2004 legislation and the Council's policies in respect of parking controls by issuing of Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles in contravention of the regulations
• To authorise vehicles for relocation action in line with contract guidelines
• To conduct vehicle/cycle checks and ensure any defects are highlighted to a line manager to be rectified
• To understand and follow the Transport Operations Manual guidance at all times when in charge of a vehicle or cycle
• To adhere to the security guidance in relation to vehicles/cycles
• To use and be responsible for the care and general maintenance of any company equipment allocated in order for daily tasks to be carried out
• To report all occurrences of equipment breakdown and irregularities within the enforcement areas
• To undertake the duties of the post in accordance with the Quality Assurance systems and procedures within the service

Qualifications: Essential

• Relevant UK driving/provisional license training

Knowledge and Skills: Essential

• A good standard of English
• Ability to operate a Smart phone/printer/radio
• Ability to communicate with customers, often in difficult and demanding circumstances
• Ability to write simple reports
• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Numeracy & literacy skills

• Familiarity of the TMA 2004

Data Protection and Information Security

• To ensure that you and your team members adhere to the requirements of the Data Protection Act in respect of confidentiality, security and disclosure of personal data.
• To ensure that you and your team members comply with Marston Information Security Management (ISMS) policies and procedures.
• To uphold Group Information Security Management (ISMS) policies and report any suspected incidents or any observed weaknesses with the companies Information Security Management System to your Line Manager or the Information Security Manager immediately.
• To ensure that you and your team members understand your/their responsibilities to reduce the risk of theft, fraud or misuse of facilities;
• To ensure that you and your team members are aware of information security threats, your/their responsibilities and are equipped to support ISMS in the course of their normal work to reduce the risk of human error;
• To be responsible for evaluating and reviewing the work carried out in your areas of responsibility including all related security responsibilities.

General

• The post holder is expected to carry out, any other duties reasonably expected with the general level of the post
• The post holder will be subject to clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service check. In addition, the post holder is expected to keep the Company updated if their personal circumstances change.

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum DOE plus company van and Veolia benefits

Hours: 43 hours per week. 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Location: Mobile role covering Wigan, Preston and Manchester

What you'll be doing;

• Operating and maintaining Steam Boiler House systems to include Package Steam Boilers, Water Treatment Plants and other industrial utility plant.
  
• Effective completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on a range of Mechanical systems is required such as Steam & Water Systems, Boilers, Pumps, Control Valves.
  
• Breakdown and repair on systems to include overhaul equipment and pipe fitting works
  
• Project work including minor mechanical installation.
  
• You will be responsible for the maintenance and publication of plant quality records and reports and implementing Safe Systems of Work to include production of Permit to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  
• Supporting out of hour alarms from mobile sites through On-Call rota cover.
  

What we're looking for;



Essential:

• A proven engineering background within Mechanical Engineering industry with a recognised Time Served apprenticeship
  
• Experienced on industrial Mechanical equipment and Industrial Utilities assets.
  
• Experience with industrial plant fault finding and maintenance
  
• Ability to assist a multi-disciplined Engineering team.
  
• Full clean driving licence
  

Desirable:

• Experience of operating Steam Boiler plant.
  
• Knowledge of Steam Boiler plant to aid operations, maintenance and fault finding on plant
  
• Experience of maintenance on Steam systems.
  
• Experience of multi-skilled work to support both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance tasks within an Industrial environment
  
• You will have experience of producing Health & Safety documentation such as Method Statement / Risk Assessments for tasks
  
• Knowledge of Gas, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
  
• Fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Water Treatment plant & equipment such as Effluent Treatment, Demineralisation and Reverse Osmosis
  
• You will ideally possess qualification in some of the following areas - IOSH / CSCS Safety or equivalent, Confined Space, BOAS or equivalent, Steam Systems, Legionella Awareness, Industrial Gas Qualifications, IPAF / PASMA

JOB TITLE: Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical & Electrical

LOCATION: Tameside - mobile across sites

SALARY: 40k, 8am - 4:30pm
on call 1 in 4, £135 standby

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The post holder will work as part of a flexible team with continuing responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality property maintenance service to all facilities on the Contract. The post holder will also be expected to undertake any property maintenance work within the post holder's range of competence.

Overall responsibility for the delivery of Hard Services (planned and reactive) within a PFI Education environment. The mobile engineer will have a strong focus on developing the client relationships with the schools and Facilities Premises Team. This contract will only focus on the delivery of Hard Services.

DUTIES:

To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of various contracts.

To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work on equipment as defined by your core and non-core skills as per the agreed client programme.

Provide timely updates to the helpdesk on progress of reactive works and completion of reactive / planned tasks.

Provide written technical reports as required, including routine maintenance and reactive reports.

Diagnosing faults on all M & E systems and rectifying as within levels of competence.

To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.

Facilitate site attendance by specialist sub-contractors as required by the contract.

Complete all regulatory and mandated documents such as Permit to Work Systems as required.

Undertake job specific risk assessments as may be required prior to starting work.

To always operate with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety

Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.

To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the

Administrator or Team leader of any follow up action that may be required.

To take part in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365-day cover to the Facilities

To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate

To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.

The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures, and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.

To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM's operational requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Recognized trade apprenticeship

Experience in electrical power distribution systems/ lighting systems/ 18th Edition

City & Guilds NVQ in Servicing and Maintaining Air Conditioning

Experience in HVAC control systems

Experience with BMS Control Systems

Health & Safety Certificate

A full driving licence is required and a willingness to travel.

Able to respond efficiently to and prioritise all duties accordingly.

Able to have a flexible approach to working arrangements.

Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision.

First class customer service to represent the Company to the higher standard.
