Duties will include:

• Safe and efficient operation of the Aro machines by following the relevant, specified safe systems of work (SSOW). Start-up process must be performed so that the machine run is possible with as fewer rejects as possible and the highest stroke rate. During the set-up process, the machine operator must ensure first of are correct to required standards and reduce set-up times whilst reducing waste.
• Cost-efficient operation of the machine(s) with the aim of increasing utilisation and hourly output while maintaining the required quality within the specified limits.
• Reduction of rejects through the best possible machine settings, optimisation of process capabilities and following the controlled, approved procedures in place.
• Replenishing stocks of cartons, pallets, paper, bubble, labels, tapes, & other consumable supplies used in the production process whilst removing consumable waste; pallets, cardboard, paper reel cores, bubble general waste to the correct area, be that waste bin or other; Environmental compliance includes separating & disposing of the different waste streams, using the compactor and baler under compliance of relevant SSOWs.
• Recording in the production report with appropriate comments throughout the course of the shift. Precise input into SAP system to ensure maximum data integrity.
• Blocking and rejecting items that do not conform to the requirements of the specifications in compliance with valid work instructions &/or customer requirements and assigning them to the correct reject area in an appropriate manner.

I am working with a facilities management company who are looking to add a Mobile Gas Engineer to their team. The company specialise in PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings. This role is a field based position and will be covering the Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee and Perth areas.

About the role of Mobile Gas Engineer:

My client work mainly on commercial buildings such as high street retailers and banks. You will be tasked with attending around 4 sites a day to carry out repairs or maintenance within the buildings which will include PPM and reactive work.

Responsibilities for Mobile Gas Engineer:

• Carry out maintenance and repair, including fabric & basic electrical tasks of buildings as required under contract
• Ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed to the required legislative standards
• Ensure all required paperwork work is completed and submitted within timescales
• Provide information and give quotes to clients
• Use hand-held technology effectively
• Monitor quality of work from sub-contractors
• Ensure all required certification is completed correctly and any remedial work is identified

Requirements of a Mobile Gas Engineer:

• The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 (ideally 3) or equivalent
• Have experience as a mobile gas engineer or experience as a domestic gas engineer and be willing to be up-skilled.
• Experience providing maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lightning
• Driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
• Willing to work on a call out rota providing out of hours full cover to clients
• Knowledge of health and safety and safe working practises

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Asset Management Section as the Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) & Networks Officer. The post is critical to the Council’s effective implementation of its Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Delivery Plan (LHEEDP) and meeting its duties contained within the Heat Networks (Scotland) Act 2021. You will work in partnership with internal external stakeholders to effectively progress the LHEEDP and support the Climate Change Lead Officer in meeting the requirements of the Heat in Buildings Strategy.

You will be educated to degree, SVQ4, HND level or equivalent and have considerable experience working in a related field. You will have a good understanding of legislation relevant to Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategies and Heat Networks with the ability to research, develop, write, implement and monitor strategic policies/strategies.

Technical or Engineering copywriting B2B Marketing Manager required to focus on technical copywriting, occasionally writing relevant white papers also with general all around brand management responsibilities.

The experienced Brand Marketing Manager will join a Marketing Team delivering global B2B marketing strategy for including social media channels, multi channel targeted campaigns, promoting international events and author compelling technical content. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering or technical copywriting experience of complex engineering products to B2B customers.

Hybrid role, minimum of two days per week in the office.

Skills

Over five years B2B marketing experience to engineering, technology, or related audiences.

Content creation specialist, authoring and editing.

Understand and communicate technical needs, products and applications.

Complex B2B marketing strategy and campaign management.

Data handling, digital analytics and sales reporting.

Marketing or Business Studies degree similar qualification.

Role

Develop and implement marketing strategy.

Write content including editorials, news stories, white papers, brochures, and gated or download content

Own advertising campaigns across print, digital, collaborations particularly LinkedIn content, monitoring, reporting and post campaign analysis. Also website content using analytics to drive new content creation.

Manage comprehensive communication plans for product life cycles and new product launches.

Track and report marketing performance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of marketing experience, preferably in an engineering or technical environment, with a strong ability to create compelling content to promote complex products to a B2B audience.


Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a marketing plan that aligns with company goals.
