Role Summary

Requirements

1. Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (required).

Main responsibilities:

· Lead the account managers, guide and support them, train and help them grow

· Respond to IFE tenders across the APAC region, by proposing the proper strategy for the clients, understanding the pricing (internal/external) and clients’ requirements

Technical Requirements

• Lead technology and innovation efforts
• Participate in high level technical strategic discussions with the engineering, QA and product departments
• Strong understanding of the SDLC Activities which include Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Post-Production Support
• Experience working in an Agile environment, including practices like Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development
• Establishing various best practices for software development (eg. documentation, testing), and encouraging their adoption with the team and organization
• Supporting established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies
• Participates in cross-functional team meetings to help establish business direction

Additional Requirements

• Degree / Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of hands-on coding experience, with a proven track record of handling complex engineering projects
• 5+ years of relevant Engineering Management and leadership Experience
• Experience in translating technical concepts into language for audiences, including software engineers, business and technical leaders
• Up-to-date knowledge of the industry
• Has knowledge of system architecture
• Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication
• Strong preference for candidates with significant expertise in one or more of these software stack although you will not be required to code on a day to day basis

[What the role is]

The Strategic System Department spearheads the development and operation of strategic pan-NEA systems in support of its operational objectives by leveraging WOG or best-in-class technology. The department also governs and manages key sensor networks to support NEA’s operational resiliency and transformation in alignment with WOG initiatives. This entails working closely with key stakeholders to harness synergies in both internal and WOG systems to introduce proven technologies into Ops processes for enhanced operational excellence. Critical work involves the conceptualisation, development, operationalisation and management of strategic systems to support and sustain new operating models.

[What you will be working on]

You will take the role of Business Architect who oversee the Ops-Tech integration and design throughout multiple pan-NEA system life-cycle. As part of the programme team comprising system owners, field operation officers and IT professionals, you ensure implementation across multiple operation domains achieve the expected business outcome. You will focus on the continuous design evolution of the system in alignment with Whole-of-Government (WOG) initiatives and source for best-fit technology solutions. You possess strong WOG collaborative acumen and relevant industry knowledge of best practices.

[What we are looking for]

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

• Knowledge in Computer Science, Information Technology or Sciences would be an advantage
• Relevant work experience in major IT and workflow re-engineering system projects and/or engineering systems with major IT components in government settings would be an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Good team player with strong interpersonal communication, presentation & writing skills
