As a CoStar Technical Manager on the Platform Development team you will play a key role in expanding the data platform that supports all of CoStar Group’s largest brands including, Homes.com, CoStar Suite, LoopNet and Apartments.com. You will deeply understand what drives the business for which you are building software. We firmly believe that what separates a good developer from a great one is a deep understanding of the business that they are supporting.

This position is located in Washington, D.C. and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Agile software development team (approximately 5-7 people); Lead Scrum ceremonies; Deliver done-done features to customers at high velocity.
• Act as a player-coach, who can mentor & coach team members into highly productive team players.
• Promote can-do attitude, engineering mindset and collaboration as fundamental team values.
• Influence web application architecture and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement by focusing on engineering excellence 
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements, develop project plan and work schedules for use by scrum development team 
• Successfully implement software development projects to specification and within scheduled timelines and budget parameters
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Agile teams to deliver large initiatives; Develop roadmap
• Work with recruiting to identify, hire and onboard top industry talent
• Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the CRE Industry and CoStar’s business model / technology
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices 
• Adopt an owner-operator mindset and demonstrate full ownership of the product and technical platforms.
• Act as "Voice of the Customer" when participating in product readiness reviews 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.  
• A track record of commitment to prior employers 
• 7+ years of relevant development experience
• 3+ years’ experience in modern web and database technologies
• 3+ years’ experience building large distributed, API-driven systems
• 3+ years of experience leading Agile Team(s)
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns
• Solid experience with the following technologies; C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server
• Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements and offering relevant, timely technical solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Must be able to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience (direct reports, peers and senior management)
• Excellent team building, negotiation and consensus building abilities

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue is desired.
• Experience with the AWS platform
• Experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB or ElasticSearch
• Experience with relational databases (preferably SQL Server)
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration
• Commercial Real Estate (CRE) knowledge is a bonus

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and completes tax returns and reports involved with federal and state income taxes
• Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated and extension payment computations
• Support the company’s corporate income tax provision process for compliance with US GAAP/SEC reporting as required by ASC 740
• Assist with federal and state income tax audits, as necessary

Key Role:

Develop next-gen capabilities for the DoD. Leverage expertise in broad areas of technical executions, including AI, software development, and infrastructure management and deployment and the mission landscape to create technical products that advance the DoD's critical missions. Principal Accountabilities

Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Primary technical accounting expert in key areas

Required Skills/Experience:

Leidos is presently seeking a Software Engineering Manager in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency GSMO-II Program. This role will be responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of Innovations and Special Projects from kickoff through sustainment, including project management, technical leadership, architecture, and process management. The Software Engineering Manager will lead a matrixed and virtual team of engineers to balance and maintain technical, cost, and schedule deliverables. We are seeking an experienced Account Manager, Technical Sales to work out of a home office and be based around Los Angeles, Riverside, Anaheim and Pasadena, California area. The salary information for this position has a compensation package of On Target Annual Earnings (salary + variable pay) ~$160,000.

How you will make a difference @ FARO:

• Generate sales revenues by performing product demonstrations at selected customer sites or utilizing web-based demo capabilities.

Hughes is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Certification Project Manager - Aviation to join our aviation team who will play a crucial role in the planning, development and execution of our certification programs. This position will be responsible for coordinating and managing certification projects to ensure the successful issuance of Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) of in-flight connectivity systems. Responsibilities:

• Certification:
  • Oversee and manage the process of obtaining and maintaining the necessary FAA certifications for aircraft, equipment, personnel and operations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineers, designers, manufacturers, customers, regulators, auditors and inspectors.
  • Review and approve technical documentation as necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our ODA and engineering partners to ensure timely delivery of STC projects.
  • Support LRU, installation conformities and prototype installations for STC programs.
  • Support vendor and customer meetings as needed
• Process:
  • Help Hughes develop the processes and tools appropriate to a world-class aviation design holder.  These processes will touch all phases of the product development lifecycle including design, development/engineering, sourcing & vendor management, quality systems, supply chain, product & customer support as well as the regulatory relationship.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience of FAA Parts 21, 25, 145, etc. as relates to IFE and IFEC systems.
• This position requires occasional travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• DER (or equivalent) certification
• A thorough knowledge of the aviation standards and regulations, and the certification processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with the FAA STC process and its agreements with other international aviation authorities (EASA, DGCA, etc)
• Experience in guiding STC programs.
• Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders to establish technical concurrence.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
