Responsible for the delivery of an efficient, responsive, effective and customer focused support service for the PACS system and its associated peripherals. The IT PACS Technician will have responsibility for ensuring that IT technical support is provided to appropriate levels of customer service in line with corporate Service Level Agreements.

IT technicians must work closely with the PACS Managers and other IT Managers to ensure a high performing, structured and co-ordinated approach to the provision and delivery of PACS support.

Provide on-going expertise to IT Support and PACS Team for designated applications.

Co-ordinate and provide user support and training during Projects, particularly during implementation phases.

Undertake designated Requests for Change
• Be the first point of contact within the PACS teams for all technical queries, incidents, problems and requests.
• Accurately log Informatics-related calls for incidents, problems and requests received by telephone, electronically or in person using the Trust’s Service Desk
• Take ownership of and manage the resolution of incidents, problems and requests in an efficient and professional manner, whilst conforming to Trust and departmental agreements, policies, procedures and working practices, escalating and seeking further advice and information within Informatics, when necessary.• Escalate and monitor incidents and requests reported to external agencies, suppliers and contractors ensuring that appropriate minimum data sets are submitted correctly and full communication of call progress is maintained in a timely

As Technical Manager you will be responsible for taking the lead across product and process development activities to meet the companies R&D / Marketing objectives, coordinating laboratory testing resources in line with ISO 9001:2000, CE Marking and other customer specific standards.

Technical Manager - Key Responsibilities

• Work with customers to develop new products and processes, advising choice of fabrics, specification enquiries, and properties.

Technical officers work as part of a specialist Trading Standards Team that make a real difference to communities. The team focuses on several key areas of work, animal welfare, product safety, consumer protection, trademarks and weights and measures. Some of the things your role will involve are: -

• Investigating complaints about animal welfare and undertaking inspections of licensed premises, for example, pet shops and boarding kennels,
• Involvement in the seizure of illegal tobacco and vaping products,
• Working in partnership with a range of agencies such as GMP, HMRC and Immigration,
• Investigating complaints regarding the sale of age restricted goods and carrying out test purchasing with young volunteers

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Technical Officer to join our busy Pollution Control team here at Bolton Council.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will carry out a wide range of duties in relation to pollution control matters including nuisance and contaminated land. You will see through cases from the provision of advice, guidance, serving of notices to enforcement and deal with a wide range of customers.

The work will be reactive in dealing with complaints and requests and also proactive in assessing the environmental impacts of planning applications. You will also respond to licensing consultations. As Interim Systems Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller with implementing, integrating and improving the business system, Microsoft Dynamics. You will support the optimisation of D365 financial processes and systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality including migration and cleansing of current financial data. This role is expected to last up to 6months, but there is a fluid nature to the assignment.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Mobile Electrician to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account based in the
North West of England. The role will involve travelling across the region, visiting various sites from HMPYOI Styal in Wilmslow up to HMP Haverigg in Cumbria. Sites cover most prisons across the North West, including Leyland, Wigan, Warrington etc.

The Mobile Electrician plays an important part of a mobile support team that will support prisons across the regions and fulfil the role of AP/RPs as required.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Working from their offices on the outskirts of Bolton, you will be dealing with customer sites across the UK. Duties will include:

• Delivering training sessions either on-site or online
• Providing internal training sessions for the support team
• Carrying out training needs analysis
• Troubleshooting any issues with regards to the customers' products
• Ensuring all procedures are documented and updated
• Arranging software upgrade schedules for customers
• As customers are based across the UK, the role will include the occasional overnight stay

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following Skills and Experience:

• Experience in an EPOS Trainer, Software Application Trainer or IT Trainer role
• A background in a retail management role with strong experience using or training EPOS systems or possibly an IT Teacher would also be considered
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Flexible to visit customer sites
• Strong general IT skills including knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL would be beneficial but isn't essential
• Full current driving license
