Provide support to a large corporate computer systems estate comprising over 8000 desktops and over 13000 users. Duties include providing end user hardware and software support by utilising ITIL framework incident, change, request and problem management. Undertake acceptance testing, software loading and configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop end-user Information & Communications Technology (ICT) equipment. Undertake installation and commissioning of ICT equipment in the users work area, including basic familiarisation of the equipment with the user. Be conversant with the principles, configuration and use of the Trusts standard computer operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows and UNIX technologies. Commission, deploy and support a range of mobile devices including the Apple range of products and dictation equipment. Telecommunications Provide support to voice and data corporate networked systems covering routine housekeeping/ maintenance duties using configuration management and change management processes. Undertake acceptance testing, installation, commissioning, configuration and troubleshooting of data and voice communications equipment. Department-wide Provide support to associated NHS staff in satellite sites around Coventry and Warwickshire (Including travelling as necessary). Ensure ICT equipment conforms to the appropriate safety standards. Undertake problem determination and resolution on ICT equipment (including connected Audio/Visual systems) and services, including hardware repairs on such equipment and liaise with ICT and appropriate third parties as necessary to rectify such faults. You will oversee the team responsible for providing the revenues and benefits databases

You will be responsible for the monitoring, and the extraction and completion of all government returns for the Revenues & Benefit Service.

You are responsible for the Council’s statutory subsidy reporting requirements and to monitor and proactively manage expenditure, and safeguard and maximise housing benefit subsidy.

You will be responsible for the existing outsourced contract management, forming good working relationships with any third party appointed, and to assist in the completion of Government Returns, in monitoring performance in relation to expenditure for Revenues & Benefits.

What you'll be doing

As a Technical Administrator, your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Planning/ scheduling third party jobs.
• Managing third party meetings with Client
• Creating/ Issuing Project Cover Forms
• Manage dig packs and permits for works required on contract.
• Creating/ Issuing Completion docs to client (in line with contract)
