You will have a full current driving licence. I must have a strong customer care focus, good communication skills and proactive skills.
You should be able to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults. You must be capable of completing essential paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.The ideal candidate would be qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines. You must have experience of maintenance, testing & fault-finding on a variety of equipment such as boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable). Network Designer: MPLS and F5 Balancing

Location: Hybrid / Remote but some time required in Leeds or Manchester (flexible to suit)

Duration: To the end of 2024 initially. Expected extension due to ongoing requirements.

Rate: £450 - 550 paid weekly, umbrella, in scope

Our client is a very large digital organisation. They currently have a requirement for a Design Engineer with MPLS and F5 Balancer as a focus. This is to work on an MPLS core network.
This role is primarily concerned with Network Design and Capacity Design and Management.

There will also be other design requirements and you will be working directly to assist the Technical Design Authority (TDA).
Capacity Planning and Performance Monitoring are also key requirements.

IP Design type skills and have the flexibility to pick up other IP Networking skills/requirements.

This role involves less Security and more Design, but there are some IP Sec needs.

There will also be change controls.
IP Design and Network skills sought.

Both HLDs and LLDs raised.

Network Security Compliance / Design (TSA)

Location: Fully remote

Duration: To the end of 2024 initially. Expected extension due to ongoing requirements.

Rate: £450 - 550 paid weekly, umbrella, in scope

Our client is a very large digital organisation.

They currently have a requirement for a network profile to face a Government Initiative: Telecommunications Security Act (TSA).Ideally, you will have experience with TSA regulation / reform from a Network and IP Security perspective.

Security compliance is very important for this role.

More TDA and less network design, but a good grounding in design is required.You may have come from a Network Design / Professional type role and have a good grounding in Design, Network Configuration, Routers, Switches, Juniper and Cisco etc.Change control is important for this role.

Updates, Security, Vulnerability are all desired at a gold standard.This role may pick up roles such as Network Design and MPLS type requirements.

The team on site works across the IP spectrum and is close knit - People do help and assist with all types of work.If you have worked under the Telecoms Security Act, this is the most important thing to have.

Making sure IP network security is up to speed and to a high standard is the most salient requirement.
