The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join a highly motivated and fast-paced team, building a new creativity platform that will help define the future of Creative Cloud and Adobe’s Digital Media business! You will need a keen eye for details and high standards for design, code quality, and efficiency. People who enjoy taking on complex technical challenges, have a real passion for delighting customers, and who are self-motivated to push themselves in a team oriented culture will thrive in our environment.
What You'll Do
On the Automation Frameworks team, we are responsible for growing the velocity and scale of our product releases by providing a sustainable automation framework ecosystem. In addition to the traditional software engineering responsibilities, candidates should also expect to engage in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) activities and responsibilities. This means that while the focus is on integrating our automation framework with the internal platform’s portal and other internal tools, there is also a significant emphasis on designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation and infrastructure to ensure high quality and reliability. This role requires a versatile Software Engineer who is passionate about both development and testing, looking to contribute significantly to both areas to help us evolve and grow this ecosystem.

● Develop and evolve our test automation infrastructure to increase scale and velocity.
● Troubleshooting and providing support for our development teams adding test automation and/or functionality to the frameworks.

● Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science (or equivalent experience) with at least 3 years demonstrated experience in building and deploying production web applications or interactive websites.
● Demonstrated mastery in software development and debugging
● Exceptional skills in JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with either: Spectrum Web Components, Lit.js, React/JSX, Vue, or equivalent UI frameworks.

● Basic knowledge of web concepts such as DOM, canvas and WebGL rendering, web security, asynchronous programming, workers, and performance optimization.
● Relevant experience with modern tools and services: Splunk, NewRelic, BrowserStack, AWS, Grafana.
● Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment.
