Acorn by Synergie is looking for a qualified experienced High Reach electric Forklift Mechanic to join their client's warehouse team. Within this role, you will complete condition monitoring, planned and reactive maintenance of forklifts; predominately side loaders.
You will be responsible for ongoing maintenance, general diagnostics, and repair of trucks, HGV's and forklifts and other heavy equipment as required. The successful candidate must be a qualified a high reach forklift operator and assist with stocking, order preparation and product restocking.
You will also diagnose faults and complete subsequent repairs as well as perform safety inspections. You will receive training across their range of workshop machinery, and you will have the chance to organise your workshop exactly how you want it.

This company is a market leader in the Bermuda area, due to increased demand they are looking to expand to their team with the addition of a Forklift Mechanic, to look after their small fleet of eight forklifts.

About you
* The ideal candidate will have experience working on forklifts / HGVs / Side Loaders or plant equipment with strong experience within hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
* You will have mechanical engineering experience and you will receive all the training you need across the company's products.
* Candidates must have at least five years relevant experience working with heavy equipment using power tools, diagnostic equipment, hydraulics, and calibration tools.
* A solid understanding of warehouse health and safety protocols is required.
* Individuals with formal equipment certifications will be given first preference. As this is a physical role, applicants should be in general good health, able to comfortably perform the above duties.

* Working five days out of seven with Sundays off.
