In this role, you will oversee recruitment, temporary staffing, and HR administration and pay. Your expertise will ensure our HR services are aligned and efficient. You will ensure compliance with employment law and NHS standards while delivering a timely and financially viable service to all users.
We are seeking someone with substantial experience in recruitment, temporary staffing, and HR administration and pay. Your significant senior management experience in the NHS or a large public/private sector will be invaluable. Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including external providers, are essential.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting on the development and implementation of a Trust-wide recruitment strategy.
- Managing temporary staffing and ensuring robust rostering and staffing processes.
- Overseeing HR administration and payroll services, including internal audits and compliance.
- Providing leadership and direction to HR operational teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Qualifications:
- Educated to degree/master’s level or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Extensive HR management experience with a focus on recruitment, temporary staffing, and HR administration & pay.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of NHS policies, employment legislation, and best practices in HR operations.
- Experience in leveraging technology and robotics to enhance operational activities.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as ESR, TRAC/NHS Jobs, and BankStaff/Allocate.
