About the role:
The young people their support staff work with every day have a diverse range of care needs, personalities and lifestyles. They’re looking for someone just like you, to provide the award-winning care they pride ourselves on, by living in your clients home, helping to maintain their independence and enriching their lives.
Responsibilities:
- Live-in Support: Reside in the young person's property for up to 14 days and nights, offering assistance with household chores and fostering independence skills.
- Support Planning: Deliver tailored independence support plans, ensuring the young person's progress and well-being.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records by completing daily logs online, and promptly report property issues to managers.
- Household Assistance: Assist with general housekeeping, cooking meals, and educational tasks for college or training.
- Communication: Engage with the young person, liaise with external agencies, and share essential information with colleagues and managers.
- Safety and Professionalism: Maintain a vigilant awareness of your surroundings, ensuring the safety of young people. Uphold a professional demeanour while interacting with social workers and external agencies.

What you’ll need:
- Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
- Minimum 12 months’ experience working with vulnerable young people
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Up-To-Date DBS
- Relevant training in substance misuse, child protection, challenging behaviour
- Competent in report writing and completing necessary paperwork
- Punctual, trustworthy, and flexible
