Responsibility:
Security Assessment, Planning, and Control
- Ensure compliance and proficiency of cloud services and virtual environments.
- Perform annual and on-demand security reviews for cloud outsourcing as required by the Head Office, local regulators, and the outsourcing committee.
- Carry out monthly security access evaluations for the Human Capital Management Department.
- Create, implement, and review security policies and user access matrices to protect employee data.
- Address security incidents reported by the compliance team and carry out necessary corrective measures.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness sessions for the Human Capital Management Department.
- Assess and recommend new security tools and technologies.
- Ensure timely application of the latest patches across all Human Capital Management systems.
- Design and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to maintain infrastructure resilience.
Project Management
- Participate in the HRIS project team in a designated role, such as Project Manager or Security/Data Subject Matter Expert, ensuring smooth planning and execution from start to finish.
- Serve as the Human Capital Management Department’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all infrastructure security and data integration aspects of automation projects. Collaborate with the Japan Head Office Security team to implement solutions in line with security regulations, including compliance with PDPA as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between end users, the Human Capital Management team, and the IT department as needed to comprehend business requirements for HR-related Cloud (SaaS) solutions.
- Prepare and deliver regular project updates while ensuring thorough documentation of business requirements and changes.
- Develop budget proposals for identified project initiatives, engaging and negotiating with the Japan Head Office for their support where applicable.
- Advocate for digital transformation initiatives by helping users understand the purpose of changes being implemented.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with approximately 5-7 years of experience in IT services for financial institutions.
- Experience with implementing regional projects.
- Proficiency in Japanese is preferred, as this role involves communication with stakeholders in the Japan Head Office Security Department.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms and security; or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving technologies in the industry.
- Strong techno-functional aptitude, particularly with SAP SuccessFactors, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with MAS cloud outsourcing practices is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining motivation for continuous learning in work-related areas.
- Willingness to take on ad-hoc projects, such as leading minor initiatives or managing change requests as time permits
