Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of five quality professionals with varying levels of experience. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, trust, and collaboration.
• Take ownership of the newly implemented Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and aligns with company standards. Drive continuous improvements to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical device regulations, including ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and other applicable standards. Lead internal and external audits as required.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities for the quality team. Create individualised development plans to help team members grow in their careers and enhance their skill sets.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of product development and production.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the QMS and across the organisation. Implement best practices to enhance product quality, reduce risk, and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the medical device industry.
• Strong knowledge of QMS implementation and management, including ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with a passion for coaching and

They work within a variety of industries including Aerospace, Defence and Telecommunications.

As a Prototype Wire Person you will be building bespoke black box builds and should have experience working with D38999 - connectors as well as various crimp tools including Daniels.

To do well in this Prototype Wire Person role you will have a strong background in the assembly, fitting and wiring of complex box builds, control panels and cabinets.

An MoD working background and previous experience working to IPC standards would be beneficial.

Prototype Wire Person Requirements:

• Must have experience of Assembling, Wiring, Box build and Soldering within a high-end production environment
• Previous experience of working to IPC Standards (620, J-Std, 7711/21 etc) - certifications is not essential but any experience is greatly beneficial
• Proven experience of all aspects of box builds manufacturing processes
• Have good attention to detail to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards

Prototype Wire Person Responsibilities:

• Working in a small team of specialised assembly technicians assembling complex, high value, electronic products in small/medium volumes
• Regular wiring, cable assembly and electro-mechanical assembly

• Perform/prepare build, test or inspection activities before and during product manufacturing
• Experience of working from complex engineering drawings and diagrams
• Able to produce neat and intricate wiring

Due to recent growth, we are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's Design team at their site based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical components and systems on our client's wide range of robot auxiliary axis solutions.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you must be competent in generating CAD drawings for bespoke special suppose machinery. You will also have an in-depth understanding of technical drawings and engineering processes, as well as a keen eye for detail in technical administration.

Strong CAD skills in 3D modelling software is essential.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using Solidworks, CATIA, and other relevant software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to validate design concepts
• Generate detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly

Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or related role

Mechanical Design Engineer Day-to-Day:
