HR Manager - Sandwich
We're delighted to be assisting our highly-respected client in their search for a full-time permanent HR Manager, a brand new position created as a result of their continued growth. This is a 37.5 hour per week role, with some flexibility around hours. It is also hybrid, but you must be a driver with your own vehicle, as there is a requirement to visit other sites around Kent (mileage will be paid).
Salary ranges from around £43,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent upon experience, with benefits to include a whopping 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, an excellent pension scheme, employee benefits and discount card, health & well-being etc.
You will report directly to the Director of People, and will be responsible for a small team comprising of HR Advisors and an HR Administrator. Your main responsibilities will be around workforce & organisational development, employee relations, coaching & development, staff engagement & wellbeing, line management, as well as a number of general duties and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification. Coaching and/or mediation qualification would be viewed favourably.
- Highly developed HR knowledge
- Demonstrable generalist experience across the range of HR function, gained within a Senior HR professional position
- Experience of coaching/developing staff, working with HR metrics, preparing & delivering training, supporting change management, policy development & implementation
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience of providing specialist HR advice to services and Managers
- Experience in managing TUPE transfers
- Expert knowledge of key current issues in HR
- Experience in managing and leading a team
- Able to handle unpredictable situations and work well under pressure, as well as being capable of influencing and negotiating sensitive and complex cases.
- Analyse HR data
- Previous experience working in HR within primary care or the NHS would be desirable
- Previous experience of using Cascade would be desirable
