Your Role: As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will: Provide meaningful clinical and therapeutic interventions in both Disability and Community settings to improve the quality of life for participants and consumers in their activities of daily living Complete assessments and recommendations, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA’s), that support and promote independence and participation and optimal funding outcomes. Design impactful therapy plans using evidence-based tools to support participants in achieving their goals. Undertake home modification assessments and reviews to promote independence, appropriate access and optimal safety. Build and maintain relationships with participants, families, and support teams. Educate clients and caregivers on health topics such as fall prevention and stress management. Your Opportunity: As a qualified Occupational Therapist working in a community setting, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary allied health team supporting participants and consumers in both the Disability Community setting. In the role you will utilise your Occupational Therapy skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for our participants and consumers. You will be supported by clinical treatment pathways that provide optimal rehabilitation and goal achievement for our participants and consumers. The participants and consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through the following government funded models including NDIS, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme and private funding.
