The position serves as the Lead Advanced Medical Support Assistant in the VA New England VISN 1 VA Medical Center. S/He uses initiative in completing recurring assignments independently and without specific instructions, but refers deviations, problems and unfamiliar situations to the supervisor for assistance. The Advanced Scheduling Clerk was established as a part of the national initiative, Community Care Coordination, in which all facilities are now directed to coordinate all non -VA medical care appointments for the Veteran. The Advance Scheduling clerk performs a variety of administrative tasks associated with maintaining and supporting the work performed in the Community Care unit.

An opportunity exists for a full or part-time Cardiologist at the Milo C. Huempfner Outpatient Clinic, located in Green Bay, WI. The Milo C. Huempfner Outpatient Clinic is a new 162,000 square foot VA primary care and multi-specialty clinic located in Green Bay. The Milo C. Huempfner VA Outpatient Clinic has a full scope outpatient Cardiology clinic along with an outpatient diagnostic testing center.

The successful candidate should be comfortable performing all aspects of adult cardiology. All care will be provided in an outpatient setting only with no inpatient care responsibilities. Qualified candidates should be BE/BC in Cardiology. The selected candidate should demonstrate the ability to work well with a large, diverse and dedicated patient care staff.
