About The Opportunity: We are looking for a Transport Manager based at our Norwich Depot. Reporting to the Depot Manager, your overall responsibility will be to control and organise an efficient transport operation which meets the needs of our customers by providing a reliable service using all available resources to minimize costs, maximize profit and provide a first class service to our customers within legal and regulatory guidelines.

In this role you will:

• Control the disciplines and activities of all van drivers to ensure an efficient service is provided to the Depot’s customer base.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels

• Review and optimise van routes by working closely with the Depot Manager, National Distribution Team and Sales team

The Role holder will work as part of a busy Distribution Centre in Norwich with key responsibilities including leading an efficient distribution operation which meets the needs of our customers by providing a reliable service. About the opportunity:

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a temperature controlled Driver (van provided) to join our existing team based in our Norwich Distribution Centre.

Reporting into the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for checking, loading and delivering orders to a range of customers on a predetermined route.

Your key responsibilities will also include ensuring the products are carried in the correct conditions with temperature, cleanliness and security all being paramount. As a very visible face to the public and our customers we are looking for the best, and our rate of pay certainly reflects this.
