The Suicide Prevention program serves to facilitate case management services to Veterans identified as high-risk on the facility High-Risk List at the Mann-Grandstaff Medical Center and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). The primary components of the program are to provide case management services designed to improve/maintain Veteran's health and mental health, enhancing their ability to remain stable, housed, and community-integrated.

• Weekly clinical contact as needed for high-risk Veterans discharged from inpatient status for the first thirty days -post-discharge while identified as high-risk, in collaboration with other treatment team members;
• Ongoing clinical contact as needed for Veterans deemed at high risk for suicide following national guidelines, and those Veterans placed on the high-risk list;
• Preparation and updates in conjunction with the primary mental health team of the suicide specific assessment, treatment plan, safety plan, and follow-up notes including treatment plan updates;
• Provision of minimum monthly clinical case management contact with all high-risk Veterans in the program;

• Coordinating and negotiating with Federal, State, county and local regulatory agencies to resolve environmental issues.

• Represent the VALOR program and other VA senior leaders on logistic supply chain modernization related matters to Defense Health Agency (DHA) and external stakeholders to include task forces and committees.
• Assist with the development and support partnerships to address supply chain challenges.
• Identify and oversee needed supply chain projects for implementing systems participants in collaboration to support VA's logistics modernization efforts.
• Serve as a supply chain expert for the VA System Redesigns Program Management Office and provide a wide range of logistics management related tasks, which include identifying, analyzing, and developing supply chain management activities, and implementing new commercial business practices at VA facilities located worldwide.
• Develop, coordinate, and direct implementation of logistics management and supply chain activities and project to ensure that systems are effective and meet regulations and requirements.
• Perform supply studies and provides analysis on supply chain projects to identify potential systemic problems, develop resolutions to minimize impact, and identify supply chain business process improvements.
• Support the purchase of high quality, cost effective healthcare products and services.
• Perform and analyze all upgrades and installation of supply chain activities.
• Establish performance standards and evaluate the performance of subordinates, make determinations on grievances, recommend training, and approve leave.
