JOB SUMMARY

This job provides Information Security and Risk Management services for the Organization. Works with peers within security, HM Health Solutions customers and application teams to ensure alignment with current and future security needs. Manages activities of various Information Security personnel. Makes decisions on personnel actions (promotions, hiring, terminations, etc.). Develops talent, addresses resource management, cultivates capabilities of staff, planning and coordination of work, and managing performance. Conducts the oversight of security technology products for network, systems, and data. Controls expenses within the operating unit and is responsible for meeting budget goals. Actively contributes to the Information Security ans Risk Management (ISRM) strategic planning process by working with the Directors to develop and implement department strategic plans and action steps that support the corporate strategic objectives. Actively involved in the coordination, implementation, problem solving, communication, and training of new technologies and processes, as they are developed and moved into the environment. Develops and presents Information Security awareness and training programs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions; coaching and development; rewards and recognition; performance management and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
• Provide oversight of all aspects of project management to ensure continuous improvement of processes: negotiate and collaborate with leadership and staff to develop security solutions and options; develop and adhere to internal standards and strategies; ensure adherence to approved methodologies; coordinate resources, time, contingency plans and risk management.
• Provide leadership to the department: lead and champion organizational change; encourage participation in activities that support relationship development; champion information security innovation; encourage and enforce proper training in regards to security issues.
• Ensure compliance to Corporate and Information Security policies, standards and  procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization: facilitate meetings; plan, design and provide presentations; represent HM Health Solutions with outside entities; prepare divisional procedures, policies, reports and correspondence;  spread awareness of new and existing security threats; provide oversight regarding metrics, funding, budgets and resources.

EDUCATION

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Systems,  Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field

Substitutions

What does the role involve?

Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care.  You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.

Bridgwater Dialysis Unit operates 12 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 48 patients. Nursing is planned at a ratio of 1:4 patients.

This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week.  Current days are working various shifts Monday to Saturday between 6.30am to 11.30pm.

This job serves as the primary negotiator for Single Case Agreements related to non-contracted entities, while also being responsible for facility/ancillary credentialing for the entire Allegheny Health Network. It maintains compliance with the No Surprises Act by reviewing and  negotiating Qualified Payment Amounts, administering and serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Electronic Contract Repository, and maintaining Network Participation Tools for internal and external consumption.

            

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Negotiates and processes payor and employer single case agreements timely and accurately. Continually follows up on singe case agreements until complete and ensures compliance with terms of the single case agreement. Collaborates with Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Revenue Cycle and Managed Care team to ensure proper billing and timely follow-up on single case agreements. 40%
• Completes and submits facility credentialing and re-credentialing applications with all payors accurately and in a timely manner (including but not limited to hospital, ASC, and ancillary entities.) Resolves credentialing issues through collaboration with management, related departments, insurers and others as identified. Monitors and maintains key credentialing dates for all payors. 15%
• Manages Out-of-Network work queue and evaluates Qualified Payment Amounts. Ensures organizational compliance with No Surprises Act Requirements by negotiating single care agreements timely. 15%
• Administers the Contract Repository System and ensures that Managed Care Contracts are stored timely and accurately into Contract Repository system. Serves as primary intake for new contract documents and catalogs pertinent contracting language and events. Serves as department SME for Contract Repository System.  10%
• Maintains patient access matrix for internal consumption. Maintains and updates patient access matrix for external consumption. Collaborates with IT and Marketing to ensure timely updates to company websites.  10%
• Coordinates special projects and provides organizational support for the Managed Care department.  Ensures that project deadlines are met and project documentation is maintained appropriately. 10%

Minimum

The Oncology business unit in Pfizer is dedicated to developing innovative cancer medicines and Biosimilars with the aim of improving outcomes for patients spanning a number of tumor types for example; Breast, Lung, Urological and Haematological cancers, with a vision of becoming Leaders in the field of management within each individual area.

The UK marketing team are an essential part of the UK oncology business unit, developing brand strategy and marketing programmes through close partnership with our medical and sales colleagues to market our medicines and improve patient outcomes.

What can I achieve and what will I be accountable for whilst completing a placement at Pfizer?

Working in the marketing team will provide you with an opportunity to combine commercial and scientific skills to enhance our brand success, thereby improving patient outcomes.  The roles on offer will be located within a specific cancer type. If successful you will be allocated to a tumor area and integrated within a highly experienced team, having an opportunity to work on delivering brand strategy, learning about effective project management, Omnichannel and digital marketing strategy and we will ensure you are given the chance to lead and own key projects, which will provide invaluable strategic, digital and project management skills. There may also be opportunities to take on new projects and assignments outside of the Oncology team to enhance your skills and create a well-rounded experience for your placement year.

• The delivery of brand plans throughout 2024-2025

• Managing marketing materials in our Global Content Management system (GCMA)

• Supporting marketing and the Omnichannel team in the development of content and delivery of activities in our digital journey

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The registered professional nurse RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP).  This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment planning intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with Fresenius Kidney Care policy procedures standards of nursing practice state and federal regulations.

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor with guidance from the Educator Preceptor or in collaboration with another Registered Nurse.
• Performs ongoing systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data for assigned patients and documents in the patient medical record makes adjustments or modifications to treatment plan as indicated and notifies Supervisor or physician as needed.
• Assesses collaborates and documents patient/family’s basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family.
• Directs and provides in collaboration with the patient home care partner direct and ancillary patient care staff all aspects of the provision of safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapy to assigned patients.
• Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s) and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
• Serves as a resource for health care team participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned.
• Ensures correct laboratory collection processing and shipping procedures are performed and reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections.
• Identifies expected outcomes documents and updates the nursing assessment and plan of care for assigned patients through collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Ensures patient awareness related to transplant and treatment modality options.
• Assists in the identification evaluation selection and education of Dialysis candidates and Home Partners.
• Performs assessment and identifies barriers of the Dialysis candidate’s home environment and partner / family readiness and ability to perform dialysis treatments in the home. 
• Trains Home Dialysis patients and / or Home Partners on the safe effective operation and maintenance of all Dialysis equipment and treatment supplies through an organized and formal Dialysis Training Program.  
• Required to complete CAP requirements to advance.  
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Gives accurate information to patients, caregivers, and other health care providers the Allegheny Health Network Home Infusion services and associated costs. 
• Knowledge of the Allegheny Health Network Home Infusion policies and procedures and regulations regarding reimbursement for nursing and pharmacy services demonstrated. 
• Consultation with Patient Account Representative regarding initial and on-going reimbursement status of patients. 
• Uses equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
• Direct patient/caregiver teaching/care as appropriate for Pharmacy Services patients.
• Direct physician contact (i.e., patient care communications, marketing).
• Coordinate medication and supply deliveries to patients.
• Provide information regarding drugs and their safe and appropriate use to other health care providers involved in patient’s/client’s care.
• Actively participate in ongoing interdisciplinary communication specific to each patient.
• Participate in the Performance Improvement program.
• Participate in in-service programs for other health care professionals and for the community.
• Attend seminars/CEU opportunities on an ongoing basis to promote growth and effective performance. 
• Thorough knowledge of and strict adherence to Allegheny Health Network Home Infusion’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
   

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Board of Nursing in state of practice.
• 1 year acute care/IV experience
• BLS CPR certification
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Proof of current automobile insurance

Preferred

• Experience with Home Infusion Care and/or IV Therapy

Associate Director, Medical Economics - Healthcare Experience Required

As an Associate Director on the Research and Development (R&D) team, you will be joining a group of multidisciplinary individuals with a passion for using analytics to drive innovation. You will have the opportunity to work within a team, shape team culture, and directly impact our offerings within a high-growth organization. You will interact with a broad range of subject matter experts from Clinicians to Healthcare Administration Specialists to understand some of the biggest issues in Healthcare. You will work closely with Data Science, Product, and select Business Units to find opportunities to advance Evolent’s mission to change the way healthcare is delivered.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• The Associate Director, Research and Development (R&D) will help lead the development of proof of concepts (POCs), identify automation and efficiency opportunities, and surface product optimization methods which empower healthcare payers, providers, and patients to optimize clinical interventions and reduce healthcare costs. This individual will apply their knowledge of healthcare and data analysis to Evolent products, platforms, data sources, and applications to provide recommendations and support our business. Recommendations will be evaluated for business impact and subsequently implemented into Evolent’s platforms and applications.

• Work with business stakeholders to identify high volume, manual, recurring processes ripe for automation using tools such as rules, robotic process automation (RPA), and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Work with the Medical team to define new ways to measure clinical value that inform value-based clinical pathways.

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new value-based care initiatives.

• Rapidly prototype ideas, approaches, and methods

• Develop analysis plans and manage timelines for project deliverables.

• Communicate findings to team leadership and partner with teams who will translate findings into actions.

Qualifications - Required and Preferred:

• 4+ years of healthcare industry experience or related fields- Required.

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics/Biostatistics, Software Engineering, Physics, Informatics, or Public Health from a strong academic program - Required.

• 2+ years applying one or more of the following languages (SQL, Python, SAS, R) in an analytics role/setting– Required.

• Programming experience, including understanding concepts in data structures, relational databases, algorithms- Required

• Experience with data visualization tools to communicate insights effective - Required.

• Experience applying Statistics, Data Science, or AI capabilities and concepts - Required.

• Independent, self-motivated, ability to work in ambiguity with little oversight – Required.

• Master’s or PhD in a field listed above with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or another related field – Preferred.

• Experience with medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, DRG, REV, etc.) – Preferred.

• Experience with administrative healthcare claims and prior authorization data- Preferred.

Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The compensation range for this Client Manager role is $64,700 to $121,500. The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an incentive bonus plan.
