We are looking for a nursery nurse to join our expanding team in our warm, caring nursery. The candidate will need to be kind, caring and have a love for children. They need to be excited to watch children develop and have an ability to make everyday fun. Story times needs to be exhilarating and take the children’s imaginations too far off lands. They must be able to plan wonderful activities based on the children they have in their care and challenge them to learn new things on a daily basis. They must be prepared for hard work, keeping children safe and have fantastic teamwork and communicative skills. If you are this person, we would love to hear from you.

We will not be able to consider anyone who cannot attend the office at least 3 days per week.

Job Purpose

- The Learning Disabilities Team support people to meet their needs, to live as independently as they can and to live a good life. We work with multi-disciplinary teams, including the Integrated Care Board to meet those needs holistically.
- The team focuses on promoting the rights of individuals to be able to make choices and decisions for themselves and use the Mental Capacity act to guide these where required.

- The team has a range of practitioners including Assistant Care Managers, Social Workers, Experienced Social Workers, Advanced Social Workers and Link Workers. Our Link workers support the main Care Management functions of the other roles, and support the people we work with to source services and activities in the community.

As an Experienced Social Worker in the Learning Disability Team,this role will see you working closely with the residents of Swindon and their families as well as a number of professionals including health, provider services, safeguarding and mental health colleagues. Offering a greater level of experience in working with those who have learning disability, you’ll manage a caseload and be responsible for completing Care Act Assessments, reviews and proportionate support planning which may include Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interest Decisions, Community DOL applications as well as other tasks. You’ll offer support to your colleagues by providing supervision in the team, managing safeguarding enquiries, and taking part in the duty rota. The team operates a hybrid working model with all practitioners expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days per week. Consistent and regular
monthly supervision will be provided to you with access to support from the Advanced Social Workers, Assistant Team Manager, Team Manager and the wider team.

Successful Applicant will have

- A Social Work qualification & HCPC registration, with at least 2 years’ experience on the job.
- You must hold a full clean driving license and be able to travel

Key Result Areas - For allocated sessions or agreed periods each week act as the Responsible Pharmacist in the dispensary. - Clinically check outpatient prescriptions - Clinically assess in-patient supply requests by reviewing current in-patient medication chart on ePMA - Check the prescriptions for: legality, legibility and intention of prescriber, that the medication is suitable for the patient, any errors in dose, frequency, form and route, determine specific patient requirements, resolving any queries with the prescriber and determining specific patient requirements - May occasionally have to make decisions when prescribers are not available to clarify their intentions regarding ambiguous prescriptions. - Accuracy Check the dispensing of the pharmacy dispensers when required. - Issue dispensed items to outpatients with appropriate information and advice on their medicines and how to take them, in language that is appropriate for them to understand, to promote effective use of medicines and concordance and answer queries raised - Ensure that out of stock items are assessed for urgency, notified to the patient/ward staff, obtained as soon as possible and dispensed promptly, to maintain treatment - Check calculations for range of prescription types including paediatric prescriptions and complex dosing regimes. - Dispense on occasion using the Pharmacy system for issuing medication. Input patient specific information on the system which will be held as part of the patient record - Respond to queries from medical staff and all other hospital staff. - Lock the department, ensuring it is fully secured/alarmed at the end of the working day to maintain safe and secure storage of all medication including controlled drugs. - Contribute to dispensary late night rota - Be part of weekend and Bank Holiday pharmacy service on a rota basis

MAIN ROLE AND PURPOSE OF THE POST The Health Care Assistant will: Be a member of the clinical team. Provide phlebotomy, in accordance with current guidelines and local protocols. Perform New Patient Health Checks, in accordance with local protocols. Refer patients to other clinicians as necessary Provide routine clinical care to patients according to locally approved protocols, under supervision of the Nurse Practitioner. Work across multiple sites managed and operated by The Whalebridge Group. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Understand the principles of healthy living and provide relevant health promotion literature to patients. Assist clinicians in the emergency management of patients. Collect patient data such as blood pressure, height, weight and ECG in accordance with practice protocols and your competence to operate the necessary equipment. Record data on patient electronic records in an accurate and timely manner. Summarise patient notes and provide administrative assistance to the nursing team. Provide smoking cessation support to patients in accordance with your training and practice protocols. Run Blood Pressure and Cardiac Clinics. Prepare the consulting and treatment rooms for effective consultation, maintaining stocks of examination instruments, stores and specimen collection materials, and ensuring couches and work benches/drawers are kept clean. Maintain the system for monitoring and ordering clinical supplies. Ensure that all specimens taken by clinicians, or brought in by patients, are ready for collection by pathology service. Assist in maintaining safe storage of drugs and vaccines under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner. Ensure that you comply with infection control guidelines. Maintain patient privacy and dignity at all times, respecting patients rights, and preferences, and adopt a non-judgemental manner when interacting with patients.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and updating the stand
Moving parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
Changing over the visuals
Maintaining the stand, keeping it looking fresh for customers that visit the store
Travelling to your depot* for kit collection, which is paid time.
