Support the unit on obtaining and maintaining unit accreditation for Urogynaecology (BSUG). Initiate and participate in management of change to broaden activities, standards and communication links through Acute Trust and Primary Care. Actively contribute to any relevant initiatives within the directorate and provide support to senior colleagues and matron. Utilise and maintain information systems to aid required audit and to provide regular activity analysis reports. Specialist Pharmacist

The ideal candidate will work flexibly to meet the demands of the service:

Approx. 0.8WTE of the role will be dedicated to the oncology pharmacy service, with patients currently being treated across 4 days per week. There is some flexibility in how the hours are worked on each day, and blended working arrangements would be considered for the right candidate. Our ambition is for the successful candidate to additionally support their Pharmacy colleagues through in-situ training and competency assessment to create a multi-skilled Pharmacy workforce within the oncology service offering.

Approx. 0.2WTE of the role will be spent providing ward-based clinical pharmacy services to our elective surgical patients, and assisting our pharmacy dispensary colleagues with the dispensing and checking of discharge and outpatient prescriptions.

As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will:

• To deliver a high-quality clinical pharmacy service within Nuffield Health Hospital Tunbridge Wells to oncology, haemato-oncology and elective surgical patients, in line with current government, NICE and BOPA guidelines.

• Undertaking medicines reconciliation, organising discharge medications, provision of drug information and clinical counselling of patients.

• Maintaining pharmaceutical care plans for all oncology and haemato-oncology patients.

• Verification and screening of SACT treatment prescriptions, inpatient prescription charts, discharge and outpatient prescriptions.

• Supporting and advising our clinicians on safe prescribing within oncology, haemato-oncology and peri-operative medicine.

• Daily coordination of the administration and delivery of SACT treatments to patients, maintaining effective communication with (and support to) the Pharmacy dispensary.

• Development of protocols and guidelines for SACT treatment.

• Ordering of SACT in readiness for patient treatment.

We are currently recruiting a full time Nursing Associate to join the primary care team at HMP Elmley.

Within this role you will contribute to the health and wellbeing of patients and service users across all health and care settings. As a Nursing Associate you will deliver high quality, personalized, safe, compassionate care in the best interest of people. About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative within our Swanley Distribution Centre.

In this role you will be working within a busy warehouse department and will be responsible for the accurate assessing of controlled drug counts, credit returns, new products, perpetual inventory checks and any other request on warehouse items. It is key that you ensure that the correct number and type of product is correctly logged. You will need to meet minimum productivity and quality standards and comply with policies and legal requirements in relation to the role.

Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate efforts to achieve operational excellence.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
