Lead Duties:

Duties:
The Program Analyst Lead is responsible for providing leadership in the development and use of informatics, analytics, and technology to support all clinical domains. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the oversight of the Advanced Analytics section through informatics and analytics practice, establishing effective clinical and administrative systems, designing useful decision support systems, managing, and delivering educational experiences, enhancing lifelong learning, and supporting healthcare research. The volume and complexity of responsibilities are significant and constantly evolving. The Program Analyst Lead will foster leadership and professionalism by building, supporting, and creating alignments for informatics and analytics best practices, and lead health informatics and analytical initiatives and innovation through collaboration and stakeholder engagement. The Program Analyst Lead will champion the adoption of business intelligence technology, facilitate workflow design, and participate in the procurement, customization, configuration, implementation, management, evaluation, and optimization of all clinical information systems as appropriate.

The Program Analyst Lead will assist in the development of strategic plans for clinical and administrative information systems and will foster relationships with local staff as well as partnerships with national professionals. The Program Analyst Lead will collaborate across service lines with other clinicians and managers regarding data, analytics, healthcare, clinical decision support, human factors, human computer interaction and usability, artificial intelligence, standards, a learning health system, evidence-based practice, and effective communication. FUNCTIONS:

• PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

1. Works for and/or in the absence of the Deputy Chief Consultant PBM/CMOP in planning, organizing and overseeing the activities of the national VA CMOP facility network, ensuring that the organizational elements comply with legal and regulatory requirements such that the mail prescription needs of veteran patients are appropriately met.
2. Contributes to developing goals, objectives business plans for VA CMOP program that support VA PBM national pharmacy program goals and objectives for the VA CMOP Program when participating on the National CMOP Advisory Board or VA PBM planning meetings.
3. Recommends, revises and/or reviews national VA CMOP program policies, procedures, mission objectives and organization design for staff and facilities to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, implement quality improvements, or in response to concerns associated with regulatory compliance and/or customer needs.

• ADMINISTRATIVE/CLINICAL

This Primary Care Physician position is under the general supervision of the VISN CRH Associate Director of Primary Care. A Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) is a clinical and administrative staff repository that serves Veterans Affairs facilities within a Veterans Integrated System Network (VISN). Major Duties:

• Provides budgetary support to +3500 employees at a Complexity Level 1 a Medical Center with five Community Based Outpatient Clinics and two Vet Centers.
• Monitors the execution of a $500+ million dollar budget for 475+ Fund Control Points (FCPs) with many different sources and types of funding for multiple VA departmental facilities, research elements, National and Special Purpose programs, and projects aligned and operated within VHA and VISN 6.
• Expertly monitors Budget Plan projected obligations and expenditures throughout fiscal year by conducting variance analysis bi-weekly and quarterly and makes recommendations to the Fiscal Officer.
• Advises Fiscal Officer on reprogramming actions between FCPs.
