The Personnel Security Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Personnel Security Program. The position is very confidential, complex, and highly sensitive nature. The incumbent has responsibility of the Personal Identity Verification Program (PIV) which is a Government-wide identification standard for secure and reliable identity credentials issued by the Federal Government to its employees, contractors, affiliates, and volunteers.
