Typical day as a Senior Occupational Therapist
- Dive into assessing and managing a variety of complex occupational performance needs for our fabulous customers.
- Craft and deliver personalised interventions and skills development programmes that really hit the mark.
- Infuse an active support culture, working closely with our stellar support workers on person-centred plans.
- Team up with the registered manager to help steer the overall development of the service.
- Jump into multi-disciplinary meetings, sharing your expert advice and bright ideas with colleagues.
- Play a key role in service improvements and audits, ensuring we’re always at the top of our game.
You bring
- Current registration to practise as an Occupational Therapist with the HCPC (of course!).
- A wealth of experience working with vulnerable people with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
- A deep understanding of evidence-based practices and the latest occupational therapy interventions.
- Proven ability to juggle a caseload effectively, with prioritisation skills that would make a circus performer proud.
- The knack for working autonomously while inspiring a person-centred approach in your colleagues.
- Stellar communication skills, capable of liaising with external professionals and advocating fiercely for our customers' needs.
