We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon! As a Brand Manager you will develop and collaborate within the larger Cataract and cross functional teams. You will manage financials with a balanced approach for top and bottom line within assigned product portfolio in Fort Worth, TX!
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop marketing strategies, programs/campaigns & ready-to-use promotional materials (physical and digital content): in partnership with Global Marketing for new Product Launches and independently for established in-line products
- Provide marketing plan direction, guidance, and oversight to ensure best-in-class marketing execution (for new product launches & established in- line products), cross-market consistency (where appropriate), and maximum marketing ROI (by minimizing duplication and maximizing impact), including Medical Affairs plans, scientific evidence, and podium presence
- Coordinate all US brand marketing initiatives that will help achieve the annual and intermediate-term sales and market share objectives
- Provide strategic input for Medical/Economic Evidence and publication plans as member of world-wide Medical Evidence Teams
- Regularly update campaign materials and promotional assets as Alcon and competitor market presence evolves and customer needs/preferences change
- Synthesize and share best practices (e.g. lessons learned new product launch lead markets, etc.) creating a cycle of continuous improvement in marketing execution and application of novel channel innovations across the US Surgical business
- Establish Commercial KPIs and track performance with discipline
- Provide International input into “upstream” Global franchise strategy to ensure innovation programs (internal R&D and external L&A/partnerships) meet US needs
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Achieving annual sales, market share, and budget targets for respective product line in US
- Completeness & timely delivery of all marketing materials, plans, programs & toolkit
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- Critical experience: Experience leading/executing Digital Health strategy, SaaS solutions in health care and/or related Professional Services
- Familiar with entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Development, DevOps, and Scrum
- Track-record of successful, new product launches
- Capability to work in a complex global framework, including strong stakeholder experience and ability to lead cross functional teams in a fast-paced and high-demand environment
- Demonstrated strong long-term strategic thinking and planning for business success. Ability to bring innovative thinking, challenging status quo and managing the ambiguity
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs;Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: Full time
