Responsibilities:

Supervisor, clinical and line management Supervise and line manage a team of mental health professionals and trainees based in schools. Work closely with the MHST Service Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure that the provision is high quality, clinically safe and reflects best practice. Ensure that the KPIs and objectives of the MHST, and individual objectives, are met by your team. Audit cases for quality and safeguarding purposes. You will be training on the Children and Young People’s Psychological Training: Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents Course (ITP-A) and carrying out clinical work within Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS in West London NHS Trust to complement the studies with clinical work.Kindly see our Candidate Pack for further details.

This is a training position and so all candidates will need to apply for both the trainee role with H&F CAMHS and the UCL Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy in order to be shortlisted.As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. This full-time training will begin in January 2025 with around 2.5 days a week for academic work (teaching and personal study), and 2.5 days based at the service seeing clients related to training assignments.

Back On Track (H&F NHS Talking Therapies) are offering several places on the London-wide NHS Talking Therapies for trainee Cognitive-Behavioural Therapists. Please note this role will involve working with the adult population.

If you are an experienced mental health or social care worker with a recognised professional qualification working in a mental health setting (see core professionals list on the BABCP website), or a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, this course gives you the training you need to become an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT Therapist) via the BABCP route.

Since launching in 2009, Back on Track has become a well-established successful NHS Talking Therapy serviceand is one of the three services provided by West London NHS Trust. Our main base is in the heart of Hammersmith near the vibrant market of Lyric Square.

We have an excellent track record of successfully supporting our CBT trainees through their training and preparing them for life after. We have also retained many of our trainees who have completed the training. We recognise that theTalking Therapiestraining programme can be demanding, and we are careful to provide weekly individual supervision, supportive line management, and a buddy system to meet the needs and maximise the learning experience of each trainee.

We are looking for an individual to join our dynamic team, to train and become a registered pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

To be considered for this position you must hold at least THREE (3) GCSEs at grade 4/C (or above) in English, Mathematics and a Science subject. Functional Skills in English and Maths will be considered as a suitable academic equivalent.

Any applicants with international qualifications must have a ENIC formally NARIC comparability report issued, with the minimum standard specified above.

Once enrolled on the learning programme, you will be learning and working to complete a two-year apprenticeship within pharmacy leading to a Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice. You will be required to undertake distance learning and attend face to face study days. In the workplace you will complete a comprehensive in-house training programme provided by our own team. You will have the opportunity to rotate through the different areas within Pharmacy.

You must be self-motivated, willing to work hard, flexible with proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Excellent communication and IT skills, attention to detail and the ability to travel between the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust sites is essential.

The successful candidate will enrol onto an apprenticeship or non-apprenticeship qualification depending on eligibility.

The pharmacy trainee will learn about Pharmacy services, under the guidance, direction, control or supervision of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and other staff to practice the skills of a Pharmacy Support Worker.

Throughout the training programme, the post holder will work through Pharmacy Inpatients, Outpatients and Stores/ Distribution and undertake a course of study and assessment with a chosen educational provider.

The successful candidate must be dynamic, self-motivated, willing to work hard, learn from a multidisciplinary team and a team player, with proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
