As a Kitchen Assistant, you will ensure that all food preparation and catering is in accordance with Health and Safety, and Food Standard regulations. Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules ensuring that all areas of the kitchen are immaculately clean; including the washing up of crockery and utensils when required.

What will I be doing?


As a Reservation Agent, you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations within the hotel. A Reservation Agent is responsible for offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs. Specifically, a Reservations Agent will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business
Respond, positively, to sales inquiries to develop future sales leads

Do you have a passion for hospitality? We are looking for an experienced Nights Manager to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport - Luton. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £26,000 per annum.

This role is pivotal to our Lighthouse Hotel Management's success, and we are committed to providing a competitive package that reflects the candidate's skills and responsibilities. We are seeking an experienced hospitality expert who can demonstrate a successful track record in a similar role.

Responsibilities:


Ensure that all guests receive an exceptional level of customer service.
Supervise and coordinate all duties of the night shift staff.
Enforce security policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits of staff performance.
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel during the night shift.
Monitor the hotel's energy management system and ensure that the hotel is in compliance with all applicable laws.
Handle guest complaints and inquiries.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


A minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospitality management role.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What will I be doing?


As a Reservation Agent, you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations within the hotel. A Reservation Agent is responsible for offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs. Specifically, a Reservations Agent will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business
Respond, positively, to sales inquiries to develop future sales leads
Identify sales leads, as appropriate
Respond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guest's expectation
Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the hotels brand standards and developing of the Reservation team

Responsibilities:


Guest Engagement: You will lead a team of enthusiastic and approachable individuals, inspiring them to provide outstanding service with a smile. No query or problem too big or small, your team will take pride in making every guests experience exceptional throughout the bar, restaurant and meeting areas.
Supervision and Training: You will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and adjacent areas, guiding and mentoring the F&B team to deliver extraordinary service. Sharing your knowledge and expertise, you'll provide ongoing training to ensure our team is equipped with the Health, Safety, Hygiene skills needed to create magical experiences for our guests.
Collaboration: You'll collaborate closely with various inhouse teams, including kitchen, reception, and reservations, to ensure seamless guest experiences. Your excellent teamwork skills will foster a harmonious work environment, where everyone works together to create an exceptional stay for our guests.
Compliance: In line with legislation and the hotels policies and procedures, you will understand, implement and deliver the highest standards of legal compliance to your team with regards to food safety, food hygiene and food allergens. Requirements


Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
Have a postive "can do" attitude and show a desire to guide this thorughout the team
A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our hotel operates 24/7.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
