As a Kitchen Assistant, you will ensure that all food preparation and catering is in accordance with Health and Safety, and Food Standard regulations. Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules ensuring that all areas of the kitchen are immaculately clean; including the washing up of crockery and utensils when required.

Reports to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Chef



This role could be for you if you have;

- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A hardworking and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Job Description:

What will I be doing?


As a Reservation Agent, you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations within the hotel. A Reservation Agent is responsible for offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs. Specifically, a Reservations Agent will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business
Respond, positively, to sales inquiries to develop future sales leads
Identify sales leads, as appropriate
Respond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guest's expectation
Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the hotels brand standards and developing of the Reservation team

A passion for delivering great customer service
A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
Outstanding administration and organizational skills
Intermediate computer proficiency


It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:


Previous experience in a Reservations environment
Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degreequalification in a business discipline

Food & Beverage Assistant - Baycroft Flitwick Care Home, Flitwick, Bedfordshire MK45 - Part of the Country Court Family
Hours: 40 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 0730-1800 working over 4 days)

ABOUT THE FRONT OF HOUSE HOST ROLE:Within your role as Front of House Host, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Some of your responsibilities will include:

Serving residents their meals, snacks & beverages
Replenish all snack stations
Clean up after all meals
Re-lay tables & cloths
Cleaning the dining/kitchen areas
