Our client is looking for a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join a vibrant team at Ha Long Bay Restaurant in Frankston, a beloved destination for authentic Vietnamese cuisine! We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience, serving traditional dishes crafted with fresh ingredients, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional customer experiences.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle any customer inquiries or complaints
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update the menu, focusing on seasonal offerings and authentic Vietnamese dishes.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to create a well-rounded and strong team.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to minimize waste.
• Continuously monitor and analyse restaurant performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills required
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in Asian or Vietnamese cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for hospitality and a deep appreciation for Vietnamese culture and cuisine.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in financial management and reporting.
• Flexibility and willingness to work additional hours and/or in the weekends.
What We Offer:
• Salary: $73,150 - $75,000 plus Super (salary based on experience).
