Hours: 6pm-6am (3on3off)

Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Hygiene Team Leader to manage our night shift operations. Responsible for the safe &
hygienic flow of product through the production line, by effectively completing all the cleaning tasks as directed by the
Technical Manager and in line with the company and BRC defined processes. The role includes ensuring accurate and timely reporting
of any hygiene or food safety issues to the Technical Manager, adhering to safe manual handling processes and food safety hygiene
standards at all times, and continual housekeeping and maintenance of a safe working environment. The successful candidate will
work as part of a team to achieve the hygiene plan, ensuring our production facility operates smoothly and safely. Join our team

KEY DUTIES:
* Lead and motivate the hygiene team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production facility.
* Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team completes all cleaning activities in a timely and efficient manner.
* Provide guidance and training to team members on safe cleaning procedures, food safety standards, and the use of personal
protective equipment (PPE).
* Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team, conducting regular inspections and audits to
maintain compliance with company and regulatory hygiene standards.
* Reporting of any non-conformances, anomalies, or machinery failures to the Technical Manager.
* Take corrective action to control and minimize the risk of food safety issues on the production line.
* Removal of waste product into correct receptacles and minimize environmental impact through adherence to correct company
procedures.
* Follow correct hygiene procedures at all times.
* Follow safe manual handling procedures at all times.
* Maintain food safety at all times based upon the principles of HACCP.
* Correct PPE to be worn for the relevant high risk/low risk areas of the production floor.
* Any other duties as reasonably requested by the business.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous experience as Hygiene Operative food production, preferably in a supervisory role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of food production processes and safety regulations
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Proficiency in using production management software
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are advantageous
* Food Hygiene Level 3
* HACCP – Level 2
* COSHH – Level 2
* Hygiene Managers Course (desirable)
