What are my job responsibilities?
- Manage railway power supply projects, including communication, control architecture design, prototyping, integration tests, and system commissioning.
- Expertise in Station RTU, PLCs, and cybersecurity for industrial and electrification projects.
- Lead automation engineering and design activities for electrification projects, ensuring deliverables, client meetings, and vendor coordination.
- Provide system engineering support for tenders and bids.
- Collaborate with Siemens AG on design verification and customer submissions.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure project schedules are met.
- Work with project, interfacing, and T&C teams, and coordinate with interface partners.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
What do I need to qualify for this role?
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in automation, PLC, and SCADA systems, preferably in electrification/railway projects.
- Independent, self-motivated, with strong initiative, analytical, and communication skills.
- Advantageous experience in MRT electrification projects.
- Added advantage if you possess expertise in the following fields such as cybersecurity, system architectures, industrial security.
- Proficient in Siemens PLC, SCADA, HMI technology, and essential software (S7-300/400, ET200SP, SIMATIC STEP7, TIA, S7-1500, TIA-Portal).
- Experience with third-party PLC, SCADA, and software is beneficial.
- Skilled in testing and commissioning PLC systems, interfacing with AC/DC switchgear, and traction power station equipment.
- Strong competency in PLC software development.
- Preferred knowledge and experience in network technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP, MODBUS RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET)
