• Provides advice and guidance to program managers and Contracting Officer's Representatives on contracting procedures, including providing assistance in the development of acquisition packages.
• Plans, negotiates, leads, and administers procurements of goods and services, which may include specialized, state-of-the-art, critical or scarce requirements using Federal Acquisition Regulation procedures.
• Performs procurement planning, including: advising program officials in the development of procurement objectives, constructing the contractual vehicle, and facilitating creation and maintenance of acquisition plans, appropriate milestone charts and related schedules.
• Advises on the performance objectives to be used and assists in the preparation of requirements documents, such as performance work statements, statement of objectives, and statements of work.
• Serves as sole negotiator for program customer on procurement actions. Plans and coordinates negotiation strategy and leads the negotiations to develop contract prices and terms.
• Performs contract administration. Responsibilities include incremental funding, preparation of rate and price adjustments, redirection of effort, coordination of time extension, incorporation of change orders, issuance of stop work orders, issuance of cure notices or show cause letters, final payment, and contract closeout.

Duties and responsibilities:

? Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff to ensure efficiency and to increase sales
? Create & implement sales and marketing strategies and lead the retail team towards achievement of sales objectives
? Monitor market trends and sales and take corrective actions as required
? Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends
? Propose range mix and manage a desirable range that meets sales budgets, margin targets, and customer expectations
? Organise sales promotions and in-store events
? Encourage staff to sell offerings by advising customers about products and undertaking suggestive selling
? Ensure just-in-time stock refurbishment
? Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts, as required
? Analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales figures to ensure branch profitability
? Fully responsible for P&L
? Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
? Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
? Ensure compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant AQF Diploma

3 years of relevant experience is essential
