Assistant Finance Business Partner Location: Home working Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 The Aurora Group The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. Skills and Qualifications Experience: Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate: AAT Qualified (or studying towards CIMA) preferred. Experience in working in a Finance team, and experience of producing monthly management accounts and reports. Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Excel. High degree of accuracy/attention to detail. Excellent team player with strong communications skills, with an ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial managers. Credibility and confidence to work with senior managers across the organisation. Whilst the role is predominantly home based there will be a need to work from our office in Twigworth when required as well the occasional visits to our services.

As a Senior Nurseyou will provide high quality primary care services and a range of specialist interventions for offenders. Within the prison, we deliver a nurse-led integrated primary care service and operate a specialist practice-based clinical model of care. Our senior nurses deliver primary care, emergency response and first night in custody/new registration services. You will maintain an effective case management service to ensure care and continuity of treatment is maintained throughout a patient care pathway whilst detained in prison. You will be required to ensure all clinics and consultations are delivered in a clinically effective and timely way and implement strategies designed to promote and improve health and prevent disease whilst in prison.

You will dispense prescriptions and stock items, whilst supervising assistants when in the dispensary. We directly deliver Mental Health, Physical Health, Pharmacy and Clinical Substance Misuse in an integrated healthcare delivery model to provide effective and responsive care to improve wellbeing and support better outcomes in the future.

As a Mental Health Practitioner you will be providing specialist mental healthcare to offenders and working as part of the Mental Health In-Reach Team, plus wider mental health services. You will be required to work in a psychologically minded way with offenders in achieving their agreed goals and quality health outcomes.

Our Mental Health Team provide specialist interventions at primary and secondary care level including; referral management, screening assessment, triage, evidence-based interventions, care planning and risk assessing, plus one-to-one and group-work facilitation.

Our Mental Health Practitioners manage a mixed and challenging caseload and are required to perform robust assessment, screening and interventions to offenders with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. You will contribute to alternatives to inpatient admission and assisting with early discharge through the implementation of high intensity interventions and complex case management arrangements.

One of our key aims is to ensure continuity of care for an offender on ordinary location and reduce the length of stay, both in relation to prison inpatient services and external NHS/independent in-patient services. You will work closely with community mental health teams to ensure appropriate sharing of information, continuity of care and the Care Programme Approach for all offenders as necessary.
