We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join Southwark CAMHS Child and Family (under 12) team for a fixed term maternity cover role. The Child and Family Team is a well-established, dynamic and multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, clinical psychology, family therapy, nursing and a range of creative therapies. We provide assessments, evidence-based treatment and care coordination to children and young people referred to the service for complex mental health and behaviour difficulties. The post will provide a senior role providing strong clinical and therapeutic expertise, supporting colleagues and offering support and advise parents and carers through parenting interventions and psychoeducation, as well as offer consultation and advice to their professional networks. The post holder will have strong formulation skills and offer consultation to the MDT and supervision to junior colleagues.

You will provide a specialist clinical service within the Southwark CAMHS Child and Family Team for children under 12 years old with complex mental health difficulties. This will include assessment, formulation treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes. You willcontribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment.

The post holder willprovide clinical supervision and advice and consultation as appropriate, functioning as a lead specialist for children with complex mental health needs including in parenting interventions. They will undertake service evaluation, research and audit and to contribute to service development.

You will work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct, and guided by principles and policies or procedures of the service, taking responsibility for interpreting policies within defined parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

KR 1 Clinical and Client Care

· To contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills base within Southwark CAMHSby maintaining an active awareness of current developments in care and treatment of children with complex mental health difficulties and by implementing knowledge gained in practice.

· To disseminate research and service evaluation findings through presentations and published articles.



KR 7 Record-keeping and Information Governance

· To ensure that all information generated by own work is recorded as required by Trust policies and local procedures.

· To maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping and report writing, according to professional and Trust guidelines, including electronic data entry.



KR 8 Research and development

· To undertake regular complex service evaluation, audits or research relevant to service needs.

· To initiate and carry out appropriate research

· To provide expertise in a specialist research area which will contribute to Southwark CAMHS.

KR 9 Maintaining professional standards and continuing professional development

We are seeking an experienced paediatric ENT surgeon to support our hospital, specialising in complex paediatric and neonatal airways management as well as managing a significant elective and outpatient ENT portfolio.

This role will work directly alongside it’s counterparts at Charing Cross, and will be the first substantive role of it’s kind at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient organisation and effective management of paediatric ENT patients. They will join four senior paediatric ENT colleagues.

We also have a very busy paediatric department, which generates a high volume of paediatric tertiary level referrals including complex patients requiring Paediatric ENT services. We are supported by highly trained paediatric anaesthetic, intensive care and speech and language teams.

Post holder will work closely with other teams on multidisciplinary management of children with airway disease, head and neck conditions and complex health disorders involving ENT.

This post is a new post and will complement the existing skills of the department with the flexibility to respond to current and future service needs. It is anticipated that the post holder will develop the paediatric ENT service as well as other subspecialist interests in line with the needs of the department.

• Provide analytical support for the design and development of complex financial information systems, assisting in the definition of system objectives, and providing detailed specifications for the data requirements and statistical analysis of financial data.
• Design analytical and descriptive presentations for senior FDIC management concerning the status of the insured banking industry and other sectors. These presentations will provide support for official meetings, policy decisions, publications, speeches, and congressional testimony.
• Lead in the development of systems designed to identify and evaluate changing risk factors within the banking industry and within key industry segments. These efforts will support the Division's objective of discerning possible areas of concern before problems become widespread. These duties encompass analysis of sources, including information about economic trends and information about industries where bank lending is becoming concentrated.

• Directs and/or participates in nationwide or regional internal control reviews of Washington, Regional, and Field Territories, identifying efficient and effective business practices and identifying areas where operations are weak and improvements are required. 
• Designs, develops, and implements visitation guidelines to insure a thorough, consistent, impartial, and accurate review of operations and report of review findings.
• Conducts program compliance and performance reviews, management control reviews, and evaluations of the Division’s operations.  Conducts interviews, gathers facts and other data, reviews a wide variety of records and reports, analyzes data, and develops conclusions and recommendations that are supported by data, documentation and facts. 
• Prepares and presents reports, briefings, and summaries to the Assistant Director, Internal Control and Review Section, and senior-level management officials within and outside the Division on the findings, trends, and observations developed from all internal control review activities conducted of the Division’s operations.
• Serves as RMS’s liaison, and coordinates on audits, reviews, surveys, evaluations, and information requests from the Office of Risk Management & Internal Control, Office of Inspector General, and the Government Accountability Office.  Assists in developing responses to proposed recommendations.

• Continually monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of all programs and functions under the Human Resources Organization (HRO)'s scope of responsibility with a view toward efficient accomplishment of objectives; avoidance of duplication of efforts; maximum utilization of funds and personnel; and successful interaction with related agencies and programs or operations of other organizational elements of the FDIC.
• Consolidates and defends formal budget program requests; provides justifications for major program changes; develops policy and revises activities; assures correct policy and regulatory interpretations on the part of subordinate managers; and ensures the smooth functioning and coordination of all programs under incumbent’s authority.
• Establishes and maintains continuing liaison with counterparts in other organizational elements of the FDIC, officials of other regulatory agencies, representatives of various institutions and private industry. Through this liaison, the incumbent articulates FDIC policies and procedures and gains the continued cooperation and support of top policy-making officials within and outside the FDIC.
• Serves as senior advisor to the CHCO and assists the CHCO in providing leadership and direction across the organization by exercising supervisory personnel management authority, through subordinate Assistant Directors, supervisors, other staff. Ensures that all HRO programs and operations are administered effectively and in accordance with broadly stated objectives and priorities.
• Supports the CHCO in the planning, development, implementation, and overall direction of comprehensive Corporate Human Resources (HR) programs and policies. Assists the CHCO in overseeing and managing the broad, day-to-day operations of the HRO, and in maintaining the timely flow of work products, information, and services in and out of HR.
• Helps maintain effective communications and coordination of operational matters with and between Human Resources Organization (HRO) Assistant Directors and subordinate HR managers. Helps ensure the consistent and proper interpretation and application of Federal and Corporate HR policies and procedures by HR managers and staff across the Corporation. Serves along with the CHCO as a consultant and advisor to senior leadership at the FDIC, including the Deputy to the Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Board Members, and client Division/Office managers on the Corporation’s HR programs and policies.

• Conducts, coordinates, manages enforcement matters involving insured financial institutions and their institution-affiliated parties (IAPs), including Technology Service Providers (TSPs) and other third parties providing banking services.
• Conducts formal investigations under section 10(c) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, issues subpoenas for documents, and takes in-person and virtual sworn statements of prospective witnesses.
• Drafts legal documents, including requests for electronically stored information (ESI), and responds to such requests on behalf of the FDIC.
• Utilizes E-discovery software applications such as Relativity and Clearwell to identify, recover, and organize relevant and responsive ESI. designated cases, confers and coordinates with attorneys from other state and federal agencies.
• Works collaboratively with internal legal staff and attorneys from other state and federal agencies in preparing and examining witnesses.
• Analyzes requests for confidential supervisory information (CSI) from governmental and regulatory agencies, insured depository institutions, institution-affiliated parties, and other third parties under the Freedom of Information Act, the Right to Financial Privacy Act, and Part 309 of the FDIC’s Rules and Regulations.
• Performs reviews of enforcement actions originating in the regional and area offices to ensure consistent applications of laws and regulations, as well as policies and procedures set by the Assistant General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, General Counsel, and the FDIC’s operational divisions.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Research and write policy that results in decisions that affect disability claims processing for employees in all 56 Regional Offices and three Decision Review Operations Centers in determining service connection in Veterans' claims.
• Applies Veterans' benefits laws and regulations that pertain to CS benefit programs. Monitors programs and activities related to disability benefits and services provided to Veterans, their dependents, or beneficiaries.
• Studies program operations, new legislation, automated systems, management initiatives, and the operation of interacting programs and organizations to assist in the development of new and modified policies.
• Works in close cooperation with other elements of VBA in relation to Veterans' benefits.
• Researches and analyzes legislation, legislative history, regulations, regulation history, policy, case law, scientific studies, and claims data in order to formulate policy decisions affecting disability claims processing.
• Serves as a policy expert collaborating with data and financial stakeholders to assist in them providing accurate and complete costing information supporting regulations, primarily in Part 4 of 38 Code of Federal Regulations.
• Writes accurate, clear, and comprehensible documents and emails. Writes regulations (primarily in Part 4 of 38 Code of Federal Regulations), regulatory support documents, white papers (options papers, position papers, etc.), and responds, in writing, to internal and external stakeholder inquiries.
• Prepares all necessary administrative materials, correspondences, and justifications detailing reasons for decisions.
• Deals with issues of both sensitive and high-profile nature (e.g., Traumatic Brain Injury, Military Sexual Trauma, Agent Orange, Gulf War, etc.) and advises leadership on the national and local impact of changes in process, protocol, regulations, or legal statutes, which may impact or shape the future direction of the organization.
• Assists with information distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides strategic direction that results in policy and program changes impacting Veterans. Manages multiple projects or regulations concurrently where effort involves coordination among multiple resources, other divisions, or agents outside of the organization.
• Participates, monitors, and oversees the completion and delivery of additional assignments, to include but not limited to, special projects and preparation of documents for procedural, policy, or regulatory change.
• Serves as an advisor to the supervisor on issues regarding technical, regulatory, procedural, policy, and operational aspects of the CS programs.
• Informs the Secretary of VA thru management chain on policy decisions impacting the disability claims process.
• Prepares and provides oral presentations to various audiences within CS, VBA senior leadership, department level executives, and outside agencies.
• Develops PowerPoint presentations covering highlights of new material and providing practical applications and examples. May represent the Chief at meetings and conferences.
