You will be part of a small team working to support ESR users throughout ESHT. You will need to be able to prioritise work to deadlines as well as have excellent communication, organisational skills and high attention to detail. A good sense of humour is always an added bonus!

1. Prioritise and input confidential and sometimes sensitive staff changes and leavers into the HR System (ESR), ensuring correct authorisation and Finance approval where required. Ensure high level of accuracy to ensure the employee is paid correctly and to meet payroll deadlines.

2. Monitoring quality and accuracy of data received from Managers and other ESR Users, identifying and resolving any queries.

3. Provide specialist ESR system advice to user across the trust at all levels


4. Provide support to ESR Employee Self Service users, including issuing usernames and passwords and assistance with initial access and navigation of the screens via email and user helpline. This can be complex due to the English not necessarily being the employee’s first language or the IT literacy skills of the employee. Assistance to users requires a high level of patience and accuracy of explanation


5. Provide support to managers and ESR Supervisor Self Service users including how to gain access and navigation of the screen via the user helpline.

Our St Helens Mental Health Recovery & Psychology Team are looking to recruit a band 6 Senior Nurse Practitioner full time on a permanent contract. We are a supportive, well-resourced and dedicated team and there will be opportunities for professional development within the role.

CLINICAL

Assist in the development and implementation of integrated care pathways, including appropriate service user referrals and models of care.

This post is being offered under Annex 21 for one year to give time for support and development to enable the successful candidate to fulfil the core competencies.

This is a newly created position within a small but enthusiastic team who work closely together to seek out innovative solutions which ultimately support the delivery of the Trust’s vision and Digital Strategy. You will be working on a number of exciting developments, including Azure Synapse and the implementation of a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) across the Trust, alongside business as usual tasks.

Working in partnership with industry leading Microsoft Gold Partner Azure experts, you’ll be responsible for the continuous development of data warehousing and reporting solutions which the Trust relies upon for the benefit of both its patients and staff.

You will need to have good SQL (SSIS, SSRS and query building) skills, logical reasoning skills, analytics development skills and ideally be experienced in optimising data models and queries. You will be required to gather requirements from our customers and design and develop robust and efficient data products for reporting and analytical uses.

There will be options for home/remote working but the successful candidate will be required to spend time onsite at Conquest Hospital.

Job summary: The post holder will add value to the Executive Directors through ensuring the delivery of first-class support to enable the Executive Directors to be effective in their organisation and time management and by assisting in the smooth day to day running of the Trust Office. The post holder will also provide a comprehensive and effective Executive Assistant (EA) role to nominated Directors, including diary management and the compilation of reports, agendas and papers for Meetings as directed by Directors, ensuring key actions are undertaken and the minutes transcribed within strict timescales. The post holder will be expected to exercise initiative, whilst working independently, in a high profile and busy environment, and to take opportunities to explore improved ways of working in order to enhance the quality and efficiency of the service provided. The post holder will be required to demonstrate the ability to deal effectively and confidently with people at a senior level and recognise the importance of confidentiality and sensitivity of issues and be able to act using the utmost discretion. The post holder will act as the Executive Directors first point of contact for those internal and external to the organisation. They will deal with all private and confidential correspondence for their Director and provide a bridge from stakeholders to the Director and make decisions as to the best point of contact for those wishing to speak to the nominated Director. Job responsibilities: The post holder will provide operational management of the Trust Office by delivery of first class administration and support services to the Chair, Non-Executive Directors, CEO and Executive Directors. Ensure that the relevant working practices/processes are in place for the team to meet admin requirements i.e. IT equipment & stationery ordering, room bookings, refreshments, travel and audio-visual equipment bookings and ordering. Claiming expenses and mileage on the directors behalf. Authorising other directors/NEDs expenses on the Directors behalf. To be a budget code holder to the Trust Office and Medical Director. Receive invoices, allocate purchase order numbers, correct budget and coding to be allocated and then endorsed via Integra. Ensuring that reoccurring annual invoices are allocated within budget and as forecast. Actively participate and, where necessary, lead on departmental audits, investigations or projects as appropriate. Receive, collate, distribute and reply to correspondence autonomously, as well as drafting and commissioning responses on behalf of the Executive Director. Manage the complex and competing priorities of the Executive Directors diary, analysing business need; frequently re-scheduling in line with changed priorities based on an awareness of degree of importance. Manage email accounts, providing proactive responses where appropriate. Management of a range of complex and competing priorities requiring effective prioritisation based on an awareness of degree of importance and political awareness. Prioritise the Executive Directors workload effectively to ensure that meeting papers and reports are provided in accordance with deadlines and Ensure the Executive Director is appropriately briefed and prepared for the work programme and meetings Source and gather information from a variety of sources for the director to support their business. Organise complex, routine and non-routine meetings (Board and executive level) and other events, making sure that appropriate venues are booked, hospitality arranged, presentation materials and IT organised and all delegate information circulated. Co-ordinate and provide proactive support to the meetings led by the Executive Director and other members of the senior executive team, ensuring that the agendas are prepared and issued within agreed timescales. Take minutes of meetings, monitor and follow up progress on action points. Dealing with distressing and emotional complaints from patients/carers, MPs, GPs etc. ensuring these are dealt with promptly, being aware of sensitive and contentious issues/information. Essential to monitor the progress of actions taken and deadlines, liaising with the PALS Team and senior staff as required. Assist as required with the administration of sensitive investigations, including taking notes in complaints and other meetings held under stressful and emotional circumstances. Make all necessary travel arrangements and bookings on behalf of the Executive Director in order to instruct Procurement. Provide support to executive management participation in MAJAX. Arrange Trust induction programmes for new members of staff, including Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors. Devise and maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems, ensuring proper records are kept which are accurate and accessible and adhere to Data Protection. To work as part of the Trust Office team, supporting colleagues and executives in periods of high workload, annual or sick leave. Be aware of relevant/current Trust and national issues and developments Use judgement when liaising with managers and executives on urgent matters both internal and external Complying with the GDPR and Caldicott guidelines in relation to confidential data. Manage the daily flow of correspondence to agreed timescale. To undertake any other duties which are deemed appropriate to the band as requested by the Executive Directors Ensure that an efficient bring forward and pending system is in place, ensuring the Chief Executive or Directors are fully prepared for meetings. The post holder will be required to be flexible (within the maximum of 37.5 hours per week) regarding working hours, as some of the meetings may commence early or late in the day Deal proactively with general and confidential correspondence and internal and external telephone enquiries in a timely, professional and sensitive manner without reference to the Chief Executive or Directors and initiate action and progress as appropriate. Employ initiative to ensure messages and actions are prioritised and brought to the attention of the Chief Executive or Directors as appropriate, with any relevant supporting information where necessary. Collate information for meetings and other events etc. This may require researching and presenting clear written briefing information. Ability to deal with issues of a highly confidential, and in some cases sensitive nature, as well as dealing with complainants who may be extremely upset or angry and want to speak or meet with the Chief Executive or Directors personally. The post holder will be expected to deal with these in a sympathetic and tactful manner. Filing both electronically and hard copy, ensuring logical retrieval and updating of documents. Ensure document management and controls are in place for filing as per Trust policy.

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to sell new business while adding and developing new relationships to Commerce Bank within the Healthcare Industry for their assigned territories.
