• To undertake the doctoral child psychotherapy training IPCAPA at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf)/Anna Freud Centre/UCL.
• To undertake clinical work in line with the training requirements of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP).
• To complete the training requirements of the Association of Child Psychotherapists.
• Should the postholder cease to be an approved trainee of IPCAPA s/he will no longer be eligible to hold the post.
• To provide psychoanalytic psychotherapy under supervision as required within the Child Psychotherapy team.
• To undertake assessment of children, adolescents and their parents for psychotherapy
• To contribute to the multidisciplinary assessment of a broad range of cases based upon psychoanalytic principles and techniques within the generic team
• As a member of the multidisciplinary service of child psychiatrists, psychotherapists, psychologists, family therapists, social workers, nurse specialists, administrative and other staff to attend its meetings and maintain contact with co-workers.
• To participate in the regular review and ongoing discussion of cases in therapy with other members of the multidisciplinary team
• To undertake necessary recording, outcome measures, and other data gathering as required
• At an appropriate stage in the training, to participate in the ongoing consultative and liaison work undertaken by the service.

The Team

Lambeth CAMHS - River Team - is a tier 3 CAMHS team comprising of a range of skilled practitioners who assess and treat a wide variety of mental health disorders being acute, complex, chronic and/or enduring. These include schizophrenia, depression, eating disorders, deliberate self-harm, psychosis, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, gender disorders, conduct disorders, PTSD and substance misuse.

The team is a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychology, nursing, occupational therapists, art psychotherapists, CBT therapists, social workers and family therapists supported by a business manager and a number of administrators based on site.

We see the majority of the children and young people at our main team base, however, we do have facilities to see people in a local GP surgery and within schools and other statutory services as well as in their homes.

Other teams in the Borough CAMHS work out of a separate building in Brixton, allowing for the base at Black Prince Road to focus on the families presenting to a Tier 3 CAMHS.

• To maintain high standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with professional codes of practice of the Association of Child Psychotherapists and Trust policies and procedures.
• To attend team meetings as appropriate, case conferences and professional network meetings and to contribute as part of the child psychotherapy team, a psychodynamic understanding that is articulated and acted on as appropriate.

We would like to recruit a highly skilled, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Band 7/8a AOS ANP / Trainee fixed term for 8 months to cover maternity leave. The postholder will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations and ordering diagnostic tests for cancer patients attending the Clinical Assessment Unit on both sites, who present unwell due to their treatment and/or disease. Using advanced clinical decision making and assessment skills, prompt treatment plans or referrals will be initiated to effectively manage acute and chronic cancer-related complications and/or toxicities from systemic anti-cancer
treatments and/or radiotherapy.

The postholder will be involved in establishing, delivering and leading a comprehensive acute oncology service within the Trust in line with the Acute Oncology Measures outlined in the Manual for Cancer Services. Fundamentally working as an autonomous and advanced practitioner assessing, diagnosing and treating patients in an appropriate and timely
fashion.

The role is a key part of the Acute Oncology Team. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations and ordering diagnostic tests for cancer patients attending the trust, who present unwell due to their treatment and/or disease. Using advanced clinical decision making and assessment skills, prompt treatment plans or referrals will be initiated to effectively manage acute and chronic cancer-related complications and/or toxicities from systemic anti-cancer treatments and/or radiotherapy. The post holder will be involved in the further development of the acute oncology service within the Trust in line with the Acute Oncology Measures outlined in the Manual for Cancer Services. Fundamentally working as an autonomous and advanced practitioner assessing, diagnosing and treating patients in an appropriate and timely fashion.

The post holder will be expected to work across both Sutton and Chelsea sites and be flexible to ensure the service is covered appropriately, particularly during periods of annual leave and study leave.
