JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring and executing the seamless integration of financial systems, processes, and teams following mergers & acquisitions. • Conduct commercial and financial due diligence.
• Draft investment committee papers to present investment/divestment opportunities to the board and investment committee.
• Preparation of management reports and board materials for presentation to the board and investment committee.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular reports to investment committee.
• Engage and manage redevelopment of existing assets to improve revenue.
• Participate and co-ordinate the annual valuation exercise for entire portfolio.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in related industry.
• Resourcefulness, a keen analytical mind, and proficiency in financial modelling are essential.
• Good financial product knowledge and / or asset management experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

We are inviting candidates for the position of:

Regional Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manage the FP&A function and providing advisory to operational matters in relation to financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

- Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

- Review standard operating procedures relating to fixed & current assets, including assessment of asset obsolescence.

- Review monthly reconciliation schedules relating to bank balances, payables, inter-company balances etc.

- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation required for audits.

- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to handle Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and GST filing.

- Correspond with various other departments, discussing plans and recommending future courses of actions.

- Overseeing and reviewing works done by the finance team.

- Provide mentorship and coaching the finance team members across SEAO region.

- Coordinate financial reporting from Singapore and overseas offices for reviewing and consolidation purpose.

- Handle ad hoc reports from HQ and other financial reports.

- Prepare statutory consolidated financial statement

Requirements:

• A Degree in Accountancy or other professional qualifications such as ACCA.

• Minimum 6 -10 years of working experience, with proven operational excellence record.

• Fluent in English and Korean language to support regional scope for SEAO Region.

• Working knowledge of SAP is highly advantageous.

• Experience working for MNCs with dynamic ERP system.

• Knowledge of local and international accounting standards, law & regulations, concepts and systems to ensure compliance, internal controls and timely and accurate financial statements.

• Experience in advertising business or service industry is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle claims, specifically H&M, P&I, FD&D and LOH.
• Prepare all reports e.g. Monthly Claims Report.
• Renewal preparation including reviewing claims and underwriting data.
• Liaise with brokers and underwriters as required.
• Handling insurance related documentation.
• Responsibility for checking and processing insurance related documentation.
• Provision of timely statistics and reports as required.
• Provide budgetary updates to Fleet Managers and Accounts Department.
• Liaising with third party vessel managers on day to day operational matters.
• Liaise with departments over the renewal of non-marine insurance policies.
• Provide support and enhance inter-departmental processes.
• Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures.
• Actively participate in insurance related operations in accordance with the company's strategies.

• Hands on experience handling marine claims H&M / cargo / crew
• A degree or diploma in Maritime Law would be an advantage.
