The Finance Manager is responsible for consolidation and the financial wellbeing of the organization by providing financial projections, accounting services, prepare growth plans and direct the finance team. Member of the food safety team and has functional responsibility over relevant clauses related to food safety

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate monthly departmental cost reports to track and hold departmental accountability for performance against budget and forecast
• Prepare financial analysis and insights to be used for the business strategic plan, budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with IT team in implementing and streamlining finance processes (statutory and management reporting), reduce month end closing timelines and Understand and look into improvements on ERP Business Central 365 (Microsoft Navision).
• Proactive involvement in generating relevant reports, including the monthly variance analysis between actual and budget
• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement in cost control and efficiency throughout the business
• Provide guidance and support to finance team in their job performance.
• Liaise with external auditors and professional advisors on related matters.

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from the FMCG industry.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
• Knowledge of Business Central 365 (Microsoft Dynamics Nav)
• Ability to work well under tight deadline and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving and able to work in a fast-paced work environment

Job Description:

• Maintain, review and implement financial and accounting policies to ensure compliance with company's policies and good governance, practice and standard.
• Perform analysis and provide accounting and other financial information in a timely manner to the management team for decision-making.
• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow planning, forecast and movement, and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operating requirements.
• Reviews financial statements, reconciliations, discrepancy findings and journal entries to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance.
• Combine quantitative and qualitative data & information and to provide suggestion to senior management to enhance operational control.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Conduct variance on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
• Oversee cost control processes specific to the automotive industry, including managing costs related to vehicle inventory, parts, and repairs.
• Monitor operation flow and process, and work closely with operations to ensure optimal inventory and fleet management.
• Oversee receivables, payables, and credit management, implementing strategies to reduce credit risks and optimize cash flow.
• Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, tax requirements, and automotive industry standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and managing audit findings.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities, ensuring team alignment with financial best practices and industry trends.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification (Chartered Accountant is a must)
• Prior experience in handling cash flow management across multiple entities and knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in managerial role within the automotive or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, and cost control principles in the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and experience in managing stakeholder relationship.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Handles Accounts Payable and its administration
2. Conversion of GRN and entering of invoices in Microsoft BC
3. Match Supplier invoices with purchase orders/delivery order and prepare payment vouchers
4. Reconciliation of Supplier’s Statement of Accounts with vendor ledger records
5. Maintain and upkeep of accounts payable invoices, debit/credit note
6. Assist with Quarterly and Year-end Stock-take
7. Ensure proper filing and archiving of documents
8. Assist with audit and other tasks as assigned by Superior
