How you’ll make a difference
Developing and continuously improving our guardrails relating to our Release activities is a key part of this role, a growth mindset is essential to support driving forward our Release Chapter as we strive to increase our capability to land our strategic objectives. Ensuring successful implementation of our structured software releases you will be an expert collaborating closely with Feature Teams, Service Management, IT counterparts, and 3rd parties to ensure a successful delivery, throughout all aspects of the end-to-end software Release cycle. You will be responsible for the Business Release plan, business readiness, implementation activities, and post go live support. Structured Releases will involve all channels of service, and should not be limited to Core Banking, Digital, Internet Banking and Mortgages.
What you’ll bring
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multi-task; work in a fast-changing environment
- Able to challenge the status quo – always looking for ways to make things more efficient and effective
- Strong analytical, problem-solving as well as process management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of collaboration and project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
- Adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Open to new ideas and willing to embrace change.
- An awareness of Release management/implementation activity in an agile environment
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within an agile methodology
- Experience leading or participating in common agile ceremonies
- Proven experience of breaking down user stories into tasks, setting realistic sprint goals, as well as contributing into Communities of Practice
