We have an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Lead to join our committed and hardworking team working in Great Yarmouth Primary Academy, supporting our students to achieve their full potential.
The main responsibility of this role will be supporting and supervising the team of staff overseeing behaviour within the school, providing immediate support for behavioural incidents which take place, as well as working with all stakeholders to improve individual children’s behaviour with preventative strategies.
The ideal candidate will be
*enthusiastic and inspiring practitioner with recent experience of working in a primary setting
*experienced in working with students who require a level of nurture support and behaviour management, although training will be provided as necessary
able to evaluate student’s behaviour and understand a variety of techniques to de-escalate situations where students behave in challenging ways
*knowledgeable about child development and learning
*passionate about raising achievement through motivating and inspiring students, and keen to contribute to the school’s visions and values
Great Yarmouth Primary Academy is an Ofsted 'Good' school in the heart of Great Yarmouth.
