An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious registered Nutritionist to develop their clinical skills and work in a large multi-disciplinary obesity team.

Here at GSTT, we have a close-knit team of dietitians, dietetic assistants, nutritionists, physiotherapy, doctors, psychology, psychotherapy and technical instructors. This is an exciting role for registered clinical nutritionists, to support our 1:1 services and delivery of group education.

You will play a key role in assessing new patients coming into the obesity service, requiring strong people skills and advanced nutrition clinical skills. This role will sit alongside three other band 5 nutrition roles, where you will be involved in delegating of tasks to the wider dietetic assistant team, as well as line managing more junior members of the assistant team.

You will deliver one-to-one clinical services, as well as group interventions virtually and face to face across South East London. You will also contribute to service development and operational meetings.

You can choose to work remotely from home for some of the week, from our office site in Elephant and castle, or a combination of both. You will be delivering the online interventions, as well as delivering face-to-face groups at community sites across South East London. You will work 09:00-17:00 three days per week, and 11:30-19:30 two days per week.

You must have a depth of experience of delivering behaviour change interventions to groups of patients with significantly complex health challenges, and be confident to do this using virtual platforms. You should have experience of delivering interventions to people from the Black African and Black Caribbean communities. You must have a developed understanding of weight bias and stigma in both healthcare and everyday life.

This is an exciting role spread across several Women’s Services. This role will be a split-responsibility role between our Women’s Services Call Centre and our Assisted Conception Unit.

We have funding for an exciting new project which will manage Orthopaedic referrals for the South-east of London. Clinical and Communication Responsibilities

Guy's ACU provides assisted conception, diagnostic, PGT and fertility preservation services. Founded in 1991, Guy’s ACU is one of the UK's largest assisted conception clinics offering both NHS and self-funded fertility care. Our state of the art laboratory utilises time-lapse incubator technology and the best equipment to allow us to deliver optimal care. We operate a seven day service caring for patients who are undergoing funded treatment and attract both national and international self-referrals. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated HCPC registered Embryologist to join our team. Guy's ACU Embryology requires high calibre, focused individuals to join the team and support our expanding OTC service. You will undertake all routine andrology and embryology procedures as well as support the training of new laboratory team members. There will be the opportunity to complete further training to undertake embryo biopsy for the largest PGT programme in the UK. In addition to this we require scientists with clinical experience in ovarian tissue cryopreservation and HTA regulations to support Guy's OTC programme. You will also perform a range of administrative, diagnostic and support activities that are critical in delivering a high quality service and helping our patients achieve their dreams of a family. (This a fixed term maternity cover, with potential to extend, if service demands require).

The successful candidate will work closely with the embryology, OTC and wider ACU teams to undertake a range of activities that support Guy's ACU and enable us to provide assisted conception, diagnostic testing, PGT-m and PGT-sr, fertility preservation and support the OTC programme. The Haematology Day Unit is a nurse led service offers apheresis, supportive care and venesection. We care for patients with haematological cancers, sickle cell disease and other haematology diseases.

Our aim is to provide expert care to allow patients to avoid hospital admissions and to manage their disease in an ambulatory setting.

We are seeking experienced senior nurses to join our team as a Senior Staff Nurse on the Haematology Day Unit.

The individuals should be motivated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to organize, prioritize and co-ordinate within a challenging and fast paced environment. You will be supported by a strong expert team, including the Ward Sister, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and the inpatient Matron team.

We are currently open Monday to Friday 08.00 - 20.00. Shift patterns at present are 9.5 hour shifts per week. · To provide specialist level of care to all patients referred to Guy’s Breast unit with all aspects of Breast disorders / diseases or at increased risk of breast cancer.

· The post is a clinical post however the successful candidate should have research and teaching and managerial experience and actively take part in these activities

· The candidate is expected to actively participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, training and education.

· To participate in day to day management of the department

Each year the Breast Unit at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital treats over 450 new cases of breast cancer. The aspiration of the Unit is to diagnose patients in a timely and sensitive manner and guide them through a seamless pathway with availability state of the art breast surgery, customised reconstruction when necessary and multidisciplinary oncological involvement so that as many as possible are able to participate in randomised trials and clinical research.

Symptomatic cases are derived from One-stop clinicsbased at Guy’s andatUHL (outreach clinics). NHSBSP (screening) cases are assessed at SE London Screening Centre (KCH) or through remote MDMs and then seen by the Guy’s Team, given the diagnosis and the treatment is carried out at Guy’s. One-stop clinics are supported by our registrars and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. The aim is to assess all referred symptomatic referrals within10 daysand to give cancer cases their definitive diagnosis and treatment planas swiftly as possible after. To this end there are two multidisciplinary meetings every week, with results clinics being supported bya team ofbreast care nurses.

Experience in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery is essential as are any additional qualifications in these fields, to support a busy service. A higher research qualification / experience is also desirable to help strengthen the research portfolio.

Clinical:

The post holder will, together with consultant colleagues, be responsible for the provision of Breast services to the Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to include:

(a) Diagnosis and treatment of patients of the trust in such hospitals, health centers or clinics or other premises as required.

(b) Continuing clinical responsibility for the patients in your charge, allowing for all proper delegation to, and training of, your staff.

Teaching:

All consultants are expected to take part in undergraduate teaching during their normal clinical work.

Consultants taking on additional teaching responsibilities will have time allocated for these in their job plan.

Training:

Building strong relationships with clinical and operational leaders, stakeholders, landlords, and tenant organisations, the postholder will drive consistency, mitigate risks, and represent the Trust externally. Additionally, they will lead operational quality standards, fire safety compliance, and the implementation of the Trust’s Sustainability Strategy in partnership with other South East London Trusts. This role also involves delivering the annual technical assurance plan and maintaining a robust assurance framework to ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.

Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement asset management policies and estate strategies that align with the Trust’s goals. Provide strategic leadership in property and space management, collaborating with partners to deliver cost-effective services and optimise the Trust’s assets through effective oversight of holdings, acquisitions, and disposals.

Design and Capital Delivery
Establish design standards for new builds and refurbishments, ensuring alignment with Trust specifications and sustainability goals. Oversee efficient capital project delivery, focusing on stakeholder engagement and compliance, while managing logistics and dispute resolution.

Major Projects and Engineering Assurance
Present development proposals to stakeholders, aligning them with Trust objectives. Oversee contract procurement and quality management of engineering and facilities to ensure compliance and effective issue resolution.

Property and Financial Management
Develop a property strategy to optimise space and generate revenue. Manage project costs within financial targets and engage stakeholders to enhance the portfolio.

Leadership and Corporate Responsibilities
Provide leadership to promote an inclusive culture aligned with Trust values, developing team structures and career plans to drive performance. Represent Essentia and the Trust regionally and nationally, leading sustainability and transformation initiatives.

Doulton HDU is a 10 bedded Surgical HDU that cares for level 2 patients following the elective Cardiovascular pathway, surgeries requiring complex support such as non-invasive ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, thrombolysis, inotropes and pathway-based recovery from a variety of surgical procedures.

• Independently manage a group of patients within the specialty whilst working as part of the multidisciplinary team, delivering individualised and personalised direct patient care.
