Office of Program Support (OPS)
The Office of Program Support provides support services to the DHMG. The OPS is comprised of program analysts, a supervisory program analyst, and an audit-liaison specialist. The OPS team acts as the liaison between the DHMG Offices and the Office of Budget and Financial Management (OBFM), Office of Congressional Affairs and Communications (OCAC), Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM), Office of Technology and Information Management (OTIM), Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response (OPPR), Government Accountability Office (GAO), Office of Inspector General (OIG), and Facilities. The OPS provides DHMG, along with other FHFA divisions and Offices, a strong foundation of support and customer service through continued collaboration, communication, information sharing, and employee engagement.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the guidance of the supervisor and/or senior analyst, the incumbent performs the following duties and responsibilities designed to gain knowledge and experience prior to advancing to the next grade level.

• Responsible for providing support for the administration of a various essential operations, activities, and services designed to optimize the efficiency of management planning, budgeting, mission achievement, and other technical and administrative programs.
• Plans and conducts analytical assignments and special projects as directed by the manager and/or senior staff. Conducts analyses of various procedural administrative processes; identifies critical problems and develops effective solutions. Recommends processes which result in cost savings and which streamline program operational facets and systems to improve efficiencies.
• Reviews information in recurring and ad-hoc reports to ensure accuracy and applicability of the information. Consideration of the information needs, interests, and level of detail is required to ensure a variety of requirements are addressed and met.
• Analyzes, reviews, and monitors selected budget activities throughout the fiscal year. Determines whether obligations, expenditures, and requested allotments are within approved funding limitations. Assesses whether funds are being used on a timely basis and in support of Division priorities. Brings to management's attention relevant planning/budget issues and problems as they occur.
• Supports the senior staff/manager to achieve the goals and objectives for the procurement and contracting of goods and services needed to support Division activities and functions.
• Prepares requisitions and micro-purchases; ensures requisitions prepared comply with Federal/Agency regulations, statutes, and policies in addition to aligning with related FHFA program goals and objectives.
• Collaborates with senior staff/manager in identifying the Division's space and facility needs and coordinating, as necessary, with FHFA facilities management. Participates in updating space plans and tracking; drafts justification for additional space, as necessary; reviews guidelines and requirements to ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are met.
• Utilizes a wide range of office automation software, including advanced word-processing features similar to desktop publishing as well as applications relating to graphics, databases, and spreadsheets in the accomplishment of day-to-day duties. Assists senior staff in creating the DHMG employee newsletter, including related project/program articles.
• Analyzes and prepares periodic non-technical statistical and/or administrative reports. Researches and reads policies, directives, and regulatory guidance pertaining to all administrative matters in order to be aware of new, revised, or amended procedures.
• Prepares travel vouchers, handles complex travel arrangements (transportation, lodging, events, etc.), prepares claims for travel reimbursement, and obtains travel approval from senior executives, as needed, for travel in accordance with FHFA procedures and Federal travel regulations.
• Provides support with managing and preparing Website and Intranet information systems; performs and/or oversees other administrative requirements for the Office in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
• Manages correspondence for designated offices by determining those items that can be handled personally or forwarding or assigning to others.
• Serves as contact concerning activities within designated offices within the DHMG with responsibility for various administrative tasks. As needed or requested, schedules rooms, notifies speakers and participants, prepares itinerary and background and briefing material, etc. Prepares briefing books and information packets prior to meetings and trips.
• Works independently or collaboratively with colleagues on selected special projects primarily impacting standardized administrative processes and practices.

Office of Multifamily Analytics and Policy
The mission of the Office of Multifamily Analytics and Policy (OMAP) is to ensure sound and prudent oversight over the multifamily housing activities funded by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the Enterprises). OMAP is dedicated to minimizing risk associated with the Enterprises' multifamily loan purchases through the oversight and monitoring of all multifamily policies, programs, products, and procedures. The mission of OMAP is to ensure the Enterprises appropriately balance credit discipline and their chartered mission to serve underserved markets and promote rental housing affordability. The incumbent shall serve as a Supervisory Policy Analyst in OMAP, participate in specific policy development and implementation continuing activities or projects, and provide multifamily subject matter knowledge.

The Asset Management and Portfolio Oversight (AMPO)
The Asset Management and Portfolio Oversight (AMPO) branch is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Enterprises' Asset Management Plans via the Conservatorship Scorecard process. In addition, the branch reviews all new or modified multifamily policies related to asset management while the Enterprises remain in Conservatorship.

DRS carries out its work through four main organizational areas - the Office of Research and Analysis (ORA), the Office of Data and Statistics (ODS), the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO), and the Climate Change and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Branch. ORA is responsible for producing and disseminating high quality research and analysis related to housing market and housing finance. ODS is responsible for primary collection, development, production, management, validation, documentation, and dissemination of data and statistics over several key FHFA datasets.
